This is the same build or a version of the build that Quin69 used in his video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4FyIhI7wHQ
I don't take credit for this build nor do I intend to. Kudos to whomever did come up with it though.
Some changes in this build is of my own opinions and you should take them with a grain of salt. The only things I am going to be writing down in this guide are the changes that I personally made with some info taken from Quin69's video.
I am going to update this as we get further into the season making changes as I go. I hope you enjoy the build!
If you want to know more about the build, on how to play it or to know the specifics about it, refer to the video I linked or go to Quin69's official guide here: http://www.diablofans.com/builds/57538-quin69-gr66-vyrs-archon-wizard

The bread and butter of this build is basically you standing inside a whole army of mobs and if you are good enough you will probably never die until you get to a high GR with this build and the right stats.
For this build I have decided to go with Blizzard: Snowbound. This is could be subject to change but I feel it is the right choice for now. Reasons being Blizzard: Snowbound has a great proc coefficient with items and skills, making it an amazing skill to use for this build. It also has a low resource cost much like Arcane Torrent making it ideal for this build. You are mostly just standing in melee with this build anyway so the lack of ranged damage should not be a problem unless you are lacking in the gear department.

For the passive on the Hellfire Amulet I would suggest getting one of the four you already have so that you can use Cold Blooded for that extra sweet 10% damage. OR getting either one of these passives on the neck would also be good: Cold Blooded, Astral Presence and Dominance in that order.

DO YOU LIKE EXPLOSIONS? THEN THIS IS THE PERFECT BUILD FOR YOU! GETTING TIRED OF ALWAYS BEING STUNNED BY THOSE GOD FORSAKEN ARMADDONS IN YOUR GREATER RIFTS ALL THE TIME? OR MABEY YOU JUST WANT TO EXPLODE THINS WITH YOUR BARE HANDS? LOOK NO FURTHER, THIS IS THE BUILD FOR YOU! I GUARANTEE IT!
great work and its weird to see quin using a wizz xD
Ive been trying all day to get a decent Archon build for non season put together. I have went thru all the different elements and diff setups and I believe that this is the way to go! Using the cold gem instead of bane of stricken, hf ammy w/cold blooded, and still undecided on string of ears, vigilante, or witching hour, working that out now, but loving the crowd control and get great crit chance with frost nova and cold gem.
Yeah figured out cold blooded passive is additive so going to drop that, and going to go with something else, and Im trying to figure out something for non season. But yeah now im used to the build drop cold hf ammy and string for witching hour and not sure what ammy yet.
So blizzard? Or arcane torrent?
