Area Damage is not working as intended AT THE MOMENT. I hope it will be working 100% when 2.3 is live.
Stack secondary resistances -> Harmony is increasing all resistances based on your secondary (single element) resistances.
Gems
- Bane of the Trapped
- Increases damage done to enemies under the control-impairing effects by 15%. Upgrade: +0.3% additional damage per Rank.
- Gain an aura that slows the movement speed of enemies within 15 yards by 30% (Requires Rank 25)
- Bane of the Stricken
- Each attack you make against an enemy increases the damage it takes from your attacks by 0.8%. Upgrade: +0.01% damage per Rank.
- Gain 25% increased damage against Rift Guardians and bosses (Requires Rank 25)
- Gogok of Swiftness
- 50% chance on hit to gain 1% increased Attack Speed for 4 seconds. Stacks up to 15 times. Upgrade: +1% chance per hit per Rank.
- Also gain 1% Cooldown Reduction per stack of Swiftness (Requires Rank 25)
Kanai's Cube
- Weapon: The Flow of Eternity - Reduces CDR of Seven-Sided Strike
- Jewelry: Broken Promises - 100% Critical Hit Chance for 3 seconds after 5 consecutive non-critical hits

Playstyle
- Use Seven-Sided Strike on cooldown
- Dash once after SSS to get the dodge chance buff
- Use Way of the Hundred Fists - Assimilation when SSS is on cooldown to get F&R and an increased damage buff
- Use Epiphany on cooldown
- => the basic rotation is: Dash -> Assimilation (until SSS is ready) -> SSS ...
Advantages of this build
- You don't need any Critical Hit Chance due to Broken Promise: you gain space for stats which increase your toughness or damage:
- 2 x 650 Dex on rings
- 1000 Dex on amulet
- 1000 Vit on head
- 1000 Vit on gloves
Item adjustments
- Weapon for non-season
- Azurewrath - Cold skills deal 15-20% more damage
- Utar's Roar - Cold skills deal 15-20% more damage
- Weapon for low Torment, Bounty, low GR
- In-Geom - Your skill cooldowns are reduced by 8-10 seconds for 15 seconds after killing an elite pack
Skill adjustments
- Mantra of Conviction - Annihilation for lower GRs, Bounties and normal rifts - Nearby enemies take increased damage & Killing an enemy that is affected by Mantra of Conviction grants you and your allies increased movement speed.
- Dashing Strike - Way of the Falling Star for lower GRs, Bounties and normal rifts - Gain 20% increased movement speed for 4 seconds after using Dashing Strike.

- 3 Player: + Support + DPS
- 4 Player: + Support + 2 DPS
Further information or "Why do you use...?"
- Mantra of Salvation - Agility : Aditional dodge chance - this will keep you alive when SSS is not available
- Dashing Strike - Blinding Speed: Additional dodge chance - this will keep you alive when SSS is not available
- Exploding Palm - Impending Doom: High AOE Damage
- Gogok of Swiftness: Additional CDR - CDR is a crucial component -> more SSS
- Seven-Sided Strike - Sustained Attack: Reduces the CDR of SSS -> more SSS
Remember
- Don't have any Critical Hit Chance on your items and don't use paragon points in Critical Hit Chance.
- CDR is important.
The changes to SSS, how will it efect Ladder etc?

Do you think it would be worth it to roll off dex on the amy for 8% cooldown and then ditch the gogok for gizzard?
I guess it depends on what your total cooldown is and how good that amu is.
If it is just a normal amu like one of the resist ones I gues you could do it but keep in mind that on amu you have a lot of dex which is quite a lot of damage you roll off the item.
And since this build is based on crit damage losing normal damage hurts even more once it crits.
This is my build for the next season, with this monk build (here) to support us. I suppose for 3 man this (here) WD build should do the trick to complete the combo. In 4 man things are unclear imo, what kind of DPS combo ? WD Helltooth + Wiz or DH? Still need to figure out this one.
