Build Guide

Overview

This build makes the most of Roland's and Bombardment gear with a strong helping of resource cost reduction from both Piro Marella and Cindercoat. Cooldown reduction is a great additional stat to shoot for as it is what will be providing significant up time on your all important movement speed skills. I also did some playing around with wrath regen on my flail and found that this allows for significantly smoother gameplay as you will not have to be stopping as frequently to cast Shield Glare for the times that you do need a jolt of wrath (extra resource reduction would also be welcome on this slot as an alternative).

Speed

If damage is not an issue and you have a serious need for speed, you can always drop Bane of the Powerful for Boon of the Hoarder for just a little bit more juice. However, as much as i love the high octane Warzechian bracers, they are a huge damage loss from Drakon's and I would not recommend them unless they were your only choice. You can also forgo the 6-piece Roland's bonus and take Leoric's Crown and Gloves of Worship if you have been lucky enough to farm a decent one, this would speed you up considerably but at the cost of potentially leaving your team in the dust when that speed shrine hits.

FYI, to stay at max speed, try to proc Flash and cast Wings of Angels before using Steed Charge as the speed buffs of the skills do stack.

Gameplay

By leveraging cooldown reduction, resource reduction and a bit of wrath regen on your flail (if you're lucky), Shield Glare will allow you to bash to your hearts content and you will always have at least Steed Charge, Wings of Angels or Flash up to keep you barreling towards the finish line (and in step with those feisty barbs). Unfortunately the relatively low damage of Bombardment makes it worthless for higher grifts, but the novelty of the skill is not lost in T6 as it does a great job of mopping up the trash and is an excellent mostly passive AOE compliment to the single target machine that is Roland's Shield Bash. Although Focus and Restraint provides greater damage potential than RoRG, in T6 it is somewhat overkill and keeping up the buff tends to only slow things down.
