thats the link to my old one. I only made minor changes that made the build much better. Hydra is good so if you want to use that over black hole be my guest but you aren't going to crit nearly good against elites and the strongarm bracers wont exactly work with any other wizard spell besides wave of force. (Lets face it, wave of force is one of the most useless wizard spells.) Now I may say this then change my mind once i have an ancient SS wand but for right now I'll be using sun keeper due to the fact that it's my strongest weapon next to my ancient furnace.


Okay so first is first, cast electrocute on the crowd of monsters, then cast blizzard, then use black hole.

Now when you use black hole try to gather as much mobs as possible because for every 1 creature you gather your dmg is buffed 3%. Once you cast black hole spam meteor shower. This method eats enemies in seconds. I'm still working on this so it isn't exactly perfect. Once i finally get what I want I'll post another build. Right now Im working on leveling other gems. Also, in order to progress higher in GR's you must level your gems. .

You want as much resource as possible so any equipment that has like +13 more arcane in the secondaries (that are still good for you) will work great!

You also want attak speed over cooldown reduction (or at least I do). It's not because it makes my dmg better, its just because i can attack faster. From where I use electrocute - surge of power, i will be regaining my mana faster.


All the others are pretty much common sense.
You want resist all because, for a wizard, it's the most useful thing to have in matters of toughness.

Wizards are the most squishy against elemental damage. Armor is a must and life is also a must. It's good to at least have 800k health because you get easily one shotted but only when you can sacrifice certain stats on gear for life.

I dont think i need to explain resource cost reduction and life on hit..
