I personally prefer Cleave:GS as my means of keeping up the FR buff since outside of elites, I find myself rarely using it, unless for mobs with tons of health, so the extra damage AND it being a cleave (making it not requiring any aim) is just a nice touch. Bash:Punish is a good alternative as well since the buff duration of Punish is the same as FR:D.
Whirlwind:WS is very very nice for keeping up fury since I highly recommend at least having 2-3 means of generating fury externally.
Nerves of Steel isn't quite required if you don't mind dying once in a while, so you can run Brawler for damage or Animosity/Unforgiving if you're running into fury problems.
Items
The BK/6W/FR is a fairly high damage and highly efficient build in Season 3 for T6 farming. You can play around with Hexing Pants of Mr. Yan, opening up options of RoRG+CoE (mad damage for 4s every 16), RoRG+ORotZ (lower WC/WotB cooldown), RoRG+Unity (if solo) since the passive synergizes with Whirlwind way too well.
Warzechian Armguards and Chilanik's Chain just add to the need for speed, feel free to swap those out if you feel that you're going waaaaay too fast. Remember to swap out WC for something else if you do decide to not use CC (Overpower's a good choice).
Hellfire Amulet is by far the best choice if you can get a decently rolled one with a good passive since we have a few viable ones.
If you want to step it up a bit, use http://codepen.io/anon/pen/yyWLXw to play around with attack speed breakpoints.
Gem
The 3 listed are what I consider to be the best damage gems for this build, but you can swap Bane of the Trapped or Pain Enhancer for Boon of the Hoarder or Wreath of Lightning for more speed (at 25). Try them, feel out your damage, if you're sacrificing too much damage for speed, it may not be worth it. From my experience, there comes a point where you may just be going too fast to be killing stuff.
As for the non-legendary gems, go straight strength, but for the helm, if you're getting close to the point where you can keep up CC's buff with the diamond, it may be worth.

You want to go full speed 25% (remember to take boots into account), then all into strength.
I like to keep the cd/cc ratio at 10:1, so balance it with paragon points, then into as if you want to hit breakpoints or just cdr.
Since strength gives armor to begin with and we normally lack resistance, so go with resistance, then life, then armor.
Max'ing out rcr is fairly straight forward, less fury cost, more spins, etc. then you can either go loh if you find yourself getting hit a lot or just ad for bonus damage.
Build Guide
There's not much to say about this build. You may find a lot of haters in groups who complain about your 'nadoes blocking their view or going too far ahead of the group dropping the experience buff, etc etc. All I can tell you is be considerate, don't be that guy leaving elites at half health just to have your group finish it off for you.
I consider this build to be one of the best, if not the best, for T6 farming, go get 'em!
Thanks for reading, any opinions are welcome!
