Helm: Leorics Crown

This helmet is a no brainer. it gives a huge CDR boost when you socket a diamond in here.

Shoulders: Born's Privilege

Part of the Born's set, try to get a 8% CDR roll on this. Strength and Vitality are inportand too. If you can, try to get bombardment % on here.

Torso: Born's Frozen Soul

Second and last piece of the Born's set. we use this set so we get a free 10% cooldown reduction.

An alternative option for Born's is the Cindercoat. Cindercoat gives you more fire damage, although we don't spend any wrath. If you decide to go with Cindercoat you will have to use Born's Furious Wrath, so you still get the 10% cooldown reduction

Wrists: lacuni Prowlers

Bracers are not really inportant for this build. Any good bracers with %firedamage are good. if you can find a pair of Lacuni Prowlers or Steady strikers, use them, since they give a decent attackspeed buff.

Gloves: Magefist

Magefist give a fire damage boost on top of other stats. Mage fist are best in slot for this build. try to get Strength, Attackspeed, crit damage and cooldown reduction on this piece of gear.

Belt: Belt of the Trove

This belt is a new item in season 2. It gives the unique proc to spawn a bombardment every 6, 7 or 8 seconds. Obviously, you wan't the proc as low as possible. a perfect belt would have strength, vitality life and all resist/armor.

Legs: Captain Crimeson's Thrust.

Our second set, Captain Crimson's. Like the Born's set, this gives CDR. try to roll strength, vitality, all resist and 2 sockets on this.

Feet: Captain Crimson's Waders

second piece of Crimson's. core stats are strength vitality and all resist.

Weapon: The mortal Drama

The Mortal Drama makes your Bombardment fall down twice, so you deal dubble the damage you normaly do. try to get a high CDR roll here, a socket and strength. If you have a ramaladni's gift, get a 10% Damage stat on this weapon.

Shield: Akarath's awakening.

This shield gives you an awesome proc: chance to lower the cooldown by 1 second everytimes you block. Even with all the cooldown reduction we stack, we still have like 10 seconds between every cast. this shield Sync's really well with the build. Try to roll CDR and bombardment damage on this.

The Hell Skull is another great option, it gives you a plain 10% damage boost.

Amulet: The travelers Pledge

There are a lot of great amulets, but for this build, the Travelers Pledge is great. The set gives you 50% crit damage. Try to roll CDR and Crit damage on this. other great stats are Strength, a socket and %firedamage.

Ring: Ring of Royal grandeur.

This ring is a key item for most late game builds. Try to get this one with a socket, Strength CDR and attackspeed.

Ring: The compass rose

The compass rose gives you the second part of the set, a 50% crit damage boost.

an well rolled Stone of Jordan is fine too, as long as it has fire damage on it.

again, stack CDR and crit damage.

Gems:

there are so much great gems, but Gogok of Switfness is a must have for this build, because it gives 15% cdr. Bane of Powerful is highly recomended too because of the 20%, almost permanent, damage boost and 15% damage against elites. the Thirth gem is for you to decide.

Core:

Max out your movement speed, then strength. If you lack surviability, invest some in vitality.

Offense:

cap CDR, then Crit damage, attackspeed and last of all Crit chance.

Defense:

pretty straight forward.

Utility:

We don't use resource costs, so max it last. Gold find is nice but not inportant.

Build Guide

Want to throw with flaming boulders? This is the perfect build for you.

This build is all based around the Skill bombardment with the rune Annihilate. Annihilate makes your bombardment crit 100%.
Try to get as much as CDR as possible, your Bombartment is on a 60 second cooldown.

skills:

We use Bombardment as main damage source. Try to get lots of Fire damage and lots of crit damge. Crit chance is pretty useless since we crit 100% of the time.

Justice - crack, is used to get a lot of stacks on our Gogok of swiftness gem. you could use smite, but i personaly hate that skill. i don't recommand Slash or Punish, since you will have to kite a bit with though champions and elites. In my opinion its easier to throw hammers instead of walking to mobs and start bashing them.

Phalanx - body guards, they don't deal alot of damage, but they keep mobs from focussing you.

steed charge - endurance, Crowd Control breaker, movement speed, we have an almost 100% uptime on this skill, there is no reason to not get it.

Laws of Valor - critical, attackspeed and 100% crit damage on a 100% crit chance skill? Could this be more perfect?

Akarath's Champion - rally, Akarath's champion is a a free 35% damage boost. with a almost 100% uptime. I chose rally so we can burst an elite or champion with 5 bombardments in 5 seconds. You could chose fire starter for the DoT or Prophet for the bonus armor and the extra life. But to be honnest, Torment 6 is a joke and you dont really need the extra armor, and you can burst pretty much everything.

Playstyle

You basicaly run through everything except big packs of mobs that are close together, and elites ofcourse. To burst an elite, we use the combo:

Bombardment -> Laws of Valor -> Phalanx -> Akarath's champion -> Bombardment -> Phalanx (-> Laws of Valor if you ran out of time or you got stunned before you could cast Akarath's champion). After that, spam whatever is up, but try to combine Laws of Valor + Bombardment as much as possible.

Goodluck and have fun with this build
