Like many barb builds, whirlwind is the cornerstone of the setup. Eager Maelstrom and The Gathering allow a wide radius of affect while pulling targets into a tight group for easy aoe.

Hell's Legacy seems rarely used in most meta builds possibly due to its lackluster damage on paper. The fast ticks of the fire trail however act as a fantastic means of triggering the 4pc proc and synergises well with The Gathering sucking enemies into the trail. Last breath helps maximise mobility while increasing up time of the burn affect.

Ground Stomp with Shattered Ground packs a punch in a wide area and gives another source of rapid multihit damage.

The 4th skill is a flex slot. WotB with Broken Soul offers massive burst, triggering Everlasting Torment's potent dot and granting yet another source of 4pc procs. HotA with The Remembered can be used as an alternative but doesn't synergise as well with the rest of the build. Finally, Demoralize with Battlemaster's Helm and Dishonored Blade are fantastic for group play where additional utility and support is welcome.

Whether you utilise Frenzy or Lacerate is purely down to personal taste with one exception. Rending Bite can be used instead of Eager Maelstrom if increased single target damage and mobility is more valuable than the wider radius on whirlwind.

Build Guide

Grace of the Flagellant's 4 piece set bonus can trigger from any and all damage attributed to the wearer, be it direct damage, dot ticks or ground based effects. This build was created to maximise this potential by stacking as many fast multi hit damage sources as possible without sacrificing quality of life, providing high, mob melting damage for both solo and group play.
