Ring of Royal Grandeur

Aughild's is perfect since you will basically just be elite hunting solo, or a RGK(Rift Guardian Killer) in groups. Gems are kind of optional, Pain Enhancer is nice for dps on elites and solo GRs, but Bane of the Stricken also works very well for higher group GRs where you are the RGK and things require a lot more hits to kill.

If you need paragon advice, i think you are looking for more of a speed variant for lower GRs (90 or lower). If that is the case, use Zei's instead of Pain Enhancer, and try to maximize your DPS instead of worrying about survival. As an impale DH you can full clear lower GRs without getting hit...so things like Squirt's (amulet) with Convention of Elements (ring) are nice for the possible +300% damage. Maybe even consider changing the cube items out:Dawn (cubed weapon) for Envious Blade; Aquila Cuirass (cubed armor) for something like Pride's Fall or Frostburn.

Build Guide

I did NOT mark this as seasonal because this build has barely changed since it first existed.

Season 20: Crusader is still the most overpowered at the moment, making them the best RGK, but as an impale DH you have a LOT more mobility(which kind of equates to survival in high GRs) and require 0 combo/charge time(except traveler's pledge/compass rose)... making impale DHs superior for speed clears for gem levels.
