The Stat Priorities aren't in order from what is needed most to least.

It just lists that 4 stats you do need on them.


As far as the passive skills go. You can chooce to put Final Service in place of Dark Reaping if u need a fatal death canceler.


Cube's item there now are required and Armor you can change if u got better or primal Defilers Cuisses to Depth Diggers.

Same goes with ring slot cube whatever is your weakest ring you don't use out of those choices.

Build Guide

1. Overview of the Build

This build is still in testing for Greater rift pushing. This build relies heavily on Grim Scythe and Bone Spirit to support each skills weakness and Using Skeletal Mage Singularity to dump Resources for Grim Scythe's off-hand damage bonus. Bone Spirit for Single Target destruction. Grim Scythe for AoE Cleaving alot of mobs. Skeletal Mage to Dump rage when your Grim Scythe fills it back up. Skeletal Mage isn't just for dumping the resources, it also has a massive damage boost from the Max Essence we get for Empowering Shadow hook.


In season 17 when i used this build I pushed up to GR 107.


2. Rotation and skill uses

Bone Spirit : Using this skill requires some timing with the Defiler Cuisses stacking Bone spirit damage up to 15000% at the end of the duration before Bone Spirit fades. In rifting. It is best to precast Bone Spirit on a Mobs Leader at max range Targeted if possible if there are other monsters near by then blood rush up to the mob and use Bone Armor to stun them all to Proc Krysbin's Sentence. On a Greater Rift guardian where all the mobs disappear and he starts teleporting on you at a certain range gap. It is best to kite him about 2 screens away, Use Bone Spirit untargeted and let the slow spirit creep towards him. Kite him backwards if you can for more power gathering then stun him before it hits for a massive damage explosion. Using Poltergeist allows you to use this 4 times if you are confident they will find and hit its target. (also remember you can recharge bone spirits with Consuming corpses so having Devour is another recommendation.


Grim Scythe : Use on multiple mobs in melee range for max damage (and Cursed Scythe to apply curses if you don't use Aura of Frailty). Grim Scythe will Heal you by 4% of Max Life per hit through Simplicity Strength.

to get a good amount of mobs take advantage of Brigg's Wrath and Blood rush into groups of mobs to pull them on you use Bone Armor and Grim Scythe them down. (Remember to use Skeletal Mage to dump Resources when full or your Scythe will bit like a kitten).


Skeletal Mage : Skeletal Mage in general is used as a resource dumper but, If used correctly it can be just as powerful as Bone Spirit and Grim Scythe. When using this skill Make sure you are at least 90% or higher on resources for it to deal a lot of damage. (More to say down below)


Bone Armor : Get your 10 or 15 stacks of Bone armor for toughness and use on multiple mobs or guardian to stun and proc the damage bonus from Krysbin's Sentence.


Open Skill slot Choice : #4 Fraility can be changed if you want to use Grim Scythe Cursed Scythe to apply curses. Options in place are...

Devour : Cannibalize - Used to Heal yourself out of melee range and on the move. (Use those Corpses yay)!

and

Land of the Dead : Frozen Lands - Used to keep all targets stunned to maximize your damage for 10 seconds.


(Make sure to keep your targets cursed before dealing alot of damage).


3. Stats, Gems, and Gear (quick summery)

Stats : This build requires your crit chance to be at least 50% and 250% crit damage bonus to work best.

Intellect is always required

Cooldown reduction is not needed as much. If you want to get faster Blood Rushes and Bone Armor that is up to you.

Resource cost reduction is not needed at all due to needing to dump resources every time it is full.

Attack Speed isnt really needed due to the fact you does alot of damage in 1 slice and the faster your attack speed is the more times you need to use Skeletal mage to dump resources.

Improve Grim Scythe, Bone Spirit, and Skeletal mages through your gear.


Gems : Simplicity Strength and Legacy of Dreams are required for this build. The Third gem Bane of the Trapped is recommended but has options. For Defensive Purposes, Esoteric Alteration is also a choice if you need toughness. Or if you want to test you can use Enforcer to try and make the Skeletal Mage be more of a third damage dealing option in this build.


Weapon and Armor Gems : Flawless Royal Topazes x5 for Chest and Legs.

Flawless Royal Emerald for Weapon

Flawless Royal Amethyst for the Helm. More life the better.

(There is no need for topaz or diamonds due to the lack of cool down and resource spending skills we have).


Gear (Optional choices) :

Shoulders : There are no clear required choices in this slot

Rings : Your choice between 4 Ring combinations based on your play style, Brigg's Wrath, Convention of Elements, Circle of Nailuj's Evol and Lornelle's Sunstone. (Krysbin's Sentence is in cube).

Amulet : The 3 choice up top are the choices most suitable for this build and its alternate version for speed farming.

Boots : One of the 3 boots are required but they are all optional choices. (Steuart's Greaves for Speed Farming).

Chest : Those 2 choices are Recommended but not required. There are probably better choices out there I haven't tried yet.

Wrists : The first 2 are recommended the most because they benefit Push rifting and Speed Rifting. The third choice is another option to summon more mages.

Hands : I have not found any hand that benefit this build drastically so this choice is open.


Every other gear slot is required and have no other choices to look to unless you make an Alternative or better build than what I have tried to make here.

PS: This was my first time posting or making a build on forums so I hope you like the idea where this build is going. There arn't any bone spirit builds out there so i tried to make my own since i loved Bone Necros in Diablo 2. Next idea is to try and make a Bone Spear build viable once i can push pass 105 with it like this Grim Spirit build did.
