Easy portal with low equipment requirements.
Just make sure, you have your set bonus and Wilkens in cube. With Jerams, Tasker, Transcendence, Short Mans Finger and Deadly Rebirth it's easy going but it will work with other items too. Shoulders, Wrists and Amulet are not that interesting, use whatever you got. There is no need for ancient items or special stats, just take what you got in your stash - or what you take usually while playing.
Gems are not that important. Enforcer is useful, the rest is only to have something filling the sockets, you don't reeally need them. Enforcer not even has to be more than rank 1.
- Grasp (not kill!) 150 creatures
- Don't let one of those beast get into meelee range
Important is, that you don't need to kill with Grasp. They only have to be affected by it once.
Biggest problem will be to get enough creatures into your grasp before your minions kill them. You have to grasp 150 of those little monsters but there are only 169 of them at all. If your minions are killing everything while you are still searching a line of sight for your Grasp, change items/minions to make them weaker.
With Belt of Transcendence:
Don't cast Garg, Dogs and Fetish Army at the beginning - even if it hurts. Start with some Grasps while walking to gain a few Syncs - they will do it all alone. As soon as you got your 150 grasps, cast your little minion army and kill the rest.
Without Belt of Transcendence:
Try out, which minions work best for you. Fetish Army should do but I really love those three cute Gargs.
With just Set and Wilkens:
You didn't find the perfect items? Doesn't matter. Just use all of your minions. If it still won't work out, switch the Zombie Handler Talent (isn't really needed but I couldn't find a better one) to Sycophants and user Poison Darts or Piranhas instead of Darts to gain some more Minions.
If you try the first time, don't go for mastering it. Just take a look at the map and find your way through. The small part of the map got one Zealot in a corner, the next creatures are on the way to the bigger part. So don't waste time clearing the small part. It's a very simple map, one just has to know, where the monsters are lurking. Be careful not to hurry too much - you don't want to run into the last Monster left just to ruin your mastered portal. You got plenty of time. Spam Grasp everywhere in sight, doesn't cost you mana und doesn't have cooldown. Give your minions as low chance as possible, to kill creatures that not have been grasped.
Hint for Never-ever-have-played-a-"Witch-Doctor":
Minions like to run in four different directions if the smell monsters. Don't panic, start with one pack and move into that direction. Normally (if not in some kind of bloodrush) the other minions will follow and bring their prey with them. That gives you the chance to set a Grasp in their way. If your minions start to maraud the map far away, run back a bit and they will follow or teleport to you.
- You don't need cooldown reduction (as long as you don't use Piranhas)
- You don't need anything reducing meelee damage because you won't let anything in meelee range
- You don't need Spirit Vessel or something like that because there ist only the possibility to die on the way to the portal, not within the portal itself
- You have as many trys as you want, so don't hurry
