Diablo 3: Best Starting Build for Season 19 [UE Danettas Demon Hunter
On your Chest and Weapons you'll need +Max Discipline. This is very important. You'll want to prioritize Cool-down Reduction to ensure you have %100 up-time on Vengeance. If you're pushing higher Greater Rifts replace Bane of the Powerful with Bane of the Stricken to better allow the damage to build up.
Great alternatives for NON GRs is swapping to Boon of the Hoarder with an Avarice Band for pick up radius to scoop up the orbs almost instantly and running Nemesis Bracers once your survivability is high enough for what content you're pushing. When running GRs swapping back to Focus / Restraint and Boon back will be a great choice to improve clear speed.
Averages from 12x T16 Rifts w/o nemesis and w/o boon while picking up every legendary item, deaths breath, killing every goblin and opening every resplendant chest is 3 Minutes and 33 Seconds. Averages for GR75s is about 2 Minutes and 30 seconds, also w/o nemesis bracers.
Credit to: Jadawin for providing some useful information to improve this build and showcasing his Multi shot build which is very impressive with clear times of under 3 minutes.

Build Guide
This build focuses on speed to rapidly complete Torment 16 rifts and Greater Rifts up to and in the 80s. Haedrigs Gift in Season 19 rewards us with the Unhallowed Essence set only which will be 5 pieces of this build already! This will lead to a quick start for the season and the ability to grind plenty of bounties, rifts and get your Legendary Gems up really fast for any other builds you'll be using later in the season.
Nice build. Gonna try this out later on to compare with Multishot speeds. Thanks for the build!
You're welcome. Let me know how you feel in comparison to the multishot builds. It might be easier to get that build set up first but I seem to have more fun with this one.
This build looks like it will work and if the fun factor is there for you great but it begs the question......Why play something that is slower and less effective with the starting set. You dont run Nemesis Bracers or Avarice Band and losing those two things will just slow you down a ton. You have Hellcat in your cube yet you kill things way to fast to really benefit from the legendary power all that much? Like if you put Nemesis in the cube it would speed up your runs pretty significantly as they are a staple in all speed builds just giving up elite kills when you get big temporary buffs just hurts your overall efficiency.
One thing that many people miss about speed running is that doing 432423423 trillion dps is meaningless. The key to speed running is to meet the damage threshold you are trying to meet for your current difficulty level then stop adding dps and start adding things that increase your speed and efficiency. Like throwing on Avarace/Boon is a MASSIVE increase to your speed farming in Torment simply because it will pick up all progress orbs immediately.
The T16 rift you showed took you 3 minutes to clear and you had it sped up and were already 20-25% into the clear so we can estimate that the run took you 4-6 minutes? That is DREADFULLY slow in terms of DH speed farming. to put that into perspective...
5 min clears of T16 = 42 GR keys/hour
2 min clears of T12 = 63 GR keys/hour
2 min clears of T8 = 51 GR keys/hour
2 min clears of T6 = 45 GR keys/hour
UE is the absolute champion of speed farming T16/GRs prob up to 100 or so/Bounties a decently gear UE DH can clear T16 consistently in sub 2 minutes which would be
2 min clears of T16 = 105 GR keys/hour
If your torment runs are taking longer than 2 minutes you are most likely playing a poor build or playing on a difficulty too high for you. You really need to have an understanding of the return of your time invested in farming. At the end of the day every second you spend playing the game not in a GR is wasted efficiency they offer the best xp/hour best legendaries/hour best shards/hour and they are the best use of your time in game if you want to improve your character. Aside from doing bounties your primary goal should always be to farm the most GR keys/hour you possibly can so that you can gain the most power from the time you spend playing.
This build maybe be "fun" but it is nowhere close the the "best build" or is it a "fast build" of any kind for a UE DH.
I have screens clearing 70s rifts in 1m 30s to 2 minutes several times. If you push any higher than 70s-80s then the damage drops very quickly and then this is where the Multi Shot builds shine since they are much slower mobility but much higher damage. This specific set up is a nice middle ground with some great alternatives you've mentioned.
From every DH build running 70-80s this is the fastest I've seen or used. I appreciate your feedback and will definitely take this into consideration. Those are all great alternative options. If you have further doubts of the speed of this build, I'd be happy to show it to you in game.
Great build, definitely liking it so far for lower GRs and T16. I like being able to vault as much as I want unlike the multishot builds.
Just looking at the speed you are clearing the TXVI rift you have in your video the damage is already strained. You should be almost killing everything in 1-2 hits and not sitting there channeling on a yellow to kill it. You have fallen victim to the thought that because you move fast you clear fast which is 100% not accurate. I have watched your you tube video a couple of times and I can tell you 100% that this setup would get absolutely smoked by a UE DH and this setup would get absolutely smoke by the same setup with gear/gem/talent choices that actually made sense. I could play this exact build but change things that you are using that make zero sense and get probably 20-30% more clear speed and efficiency out of it.
At the end of the day this is a speed build that only move fast and moving fast does not equal clearing or progressing fast.
How about this....you seem to be pretty stuck that this build is faster so I am assuming you have the ability to stream as do I will offer you a friendly challenge.
You and I both live stream 10 consecutive rifts you playing this exact setup which you claim is the fastest and best DH build and I will play Pure UE Multishot.
I will even offer that if you can beat my efficiency in farming with this build over UE MS I will buy you a Collectors Edition of Diablo IV and you have to put up nothing. The only thing you have to risk here is the validity and reputation of this build that you have claimed is the fastest and the best nothing more.
Simple Guideline Rules.
1. Timer starts when you click on the portal from Rift 1
2. Timer ends when RG 10 dies
3. You must pick up every DB
4. You must pick up every legendary
5. You have to play this exact build
Gauntlet has been thrown.
jadawin#11889 is my btag add me if you care to back up your claims
For anyone keeping up with the comments, using this build running 12 T16 rifts, average clear time was 3 minutes and 33 seconds, picking up every legendary, deaths breath, opening every resplendent chest and killing every goblin. Just in case this helps your decision whether to aim for anything in this build or not.
Just to further clarify, Multi shot will be far superior once you start pushing Greater Rift levels but it's very convenient that all you have to do is switch bracers, belt, quiver and weapons to switch from this to multishot builds. Augmenting your set pieces and cpt crimsons first will allow you to work towards the best set up for this and the best set up for Multi.
