Legendary Gems
Kanai's Cube
Pr Nov 13 updated after testing a bit.
the build rely on the newest Crusader: Valor set:
(2) Set: Fist of the Heavens increases Heaven’s Fury damage by 100% for 5s, stacks 3 times multiplicative.
(4) Set: Hitting with Fist of the Heavens returns 5 Wrath and reduces damage taken by 1% for 10 secs. Stacks up to 50 times.
(6) Set: Increases the damage of Fist of Heavens and Heaven’s Fury by 20,000%.
Use all Diamonds in your gem slots.
Changes:
-The build capped out with Ivory tower. I made changes to make the build more spammable with Heavens fury (fires of heaven) now has a cost instead of CD. to keep spam up for longer, Long arm of the law + Laws of valor - Unstoppable force was chosen. To compensate for Akarat's downtime Fervor and Pig Sticker/Echoing fury was also swapped. With this combination and full cdr you can have permanent Akarat's. Blind is now the better choice since you don't need blocks anymore. hence the swap from Judgement to shield glare.
-Stricken hasn't been necessary to me yet since the shield has plenty ramp up dmg.
-Fist of Heavens is spammable so no need for resource gaining abilities. Fissure is by far the best rune for tagging mobs and keeping up 50% reduction.
Play style:
The main purpose is to rely on dmg from heavens fury. this dmg is being buffed through the set (1) 100% x 3 + (6) 20.000%. Fate of the fell: 375-500% + shield of fury stacking 25-30% per times hit indefinitely (RGK).Bracers of fury will buff the damage even more when you use Shield glare (300-400%)
Spam Fist of the Heavens for 50% dmg reduction. Continue to shot everything with FotH since you wont drop below 85-90% wrath at any point until spamming your heavens fury during holy cycle especially. Before spamming HF use your law to minimize wrath cost and then blind to max dps for 4 sec (bracers bonus).
We need to stand close to the mobs. So you will have to do a bit kiting and positioning so you will have as many mobs in a 70 degree cone in front of you, and they need to be as close as possible for the 3 beams from HF. I often use corners
You will therefore need to manage your cooldowns not to die. you need to max out CDR on every item rly. You can feel gimped when Akarat's is down due to gloves. but in the current setup (Nov 13) that shouldn't be an issue unless your rift is mob starved.

This build won't have 100% Akarat's Champion uptime right? Just thinking that we can't immune the immobilise affect of Stone Gauntlets then.
That's indeed a valid point. When patch 2.6.7 goes live I'll have to test it with zodiac to see if that's worth it or if it's even needed.
If in a group with a barb that give IP, that will negate the Stonyes right?
So it'll only be a problem for solo I presume? :-)
Great builde btw! will be testing the hell out of it when patch drops!
Yes IP will negate the downside of gloves.
The problem only exists in solo, but if done correctly there shouldn't be more downtime than maybe 5-7 secs. which can be solved with zodiac and playstyle adaptation.
Thanks mate, lets just hope they wont change the set bonuses again
i spent last 3 hours making this build, got a bunch of ancients, but no primals, and definitely not best stats on each piece of item. with no buffs. here are my stats.
face value lol
attack showing on tooltip at just over 1m.
generic toughness showing as 90m
Generic vitality role/stat whatever it's called is sitting at 10m
**No legendary gems equipped**
so without best possible gear, i've done a few play tests, so far my damage at-least from what i can see, as if you've never seen this build. there's a lot of shit coming out of your character specially if you got max Block chance. but i've seen it upwards of 10T. Yes 10 trillion. (ingame you'll see this as like 9000B) And those are my yellow crits, so obviously not max damage possible. but it's hard to look at damage numbers because you need to keep on your defenses with this build, if you fuck up once on your skill roation depending on what mobs you're fighting you can go from being able to do GR100, to have the toughness to get 1 shot on GR70. So be careful.
to the Original creator of this post/build, I appreciate the time and effort you took. I followed your build exactly as you had it up here. I didn't see anything on gems so i just went full diamonds.
Definitely use the Darklight flail instead of pig sticker......Fist of heavens casts twice and 1000% more damage
And I replace Gokok of swiftness for Zei's stone of vengeance
Hey. I don't see why Darkligt would benefit the build rly. It buffs Fist of heaven instead of Heavens fury and since we only use FoH to keep 50% reduced dmg and 3x100 more % HF dmg up. The net loss in attack speed woulden't benefit the build since you want to spam Heavens fury. If you want a fast bounty/t16 you could be right.
I found zei's not to be worth it. you want to stand as close to the mobs as possible with fate of the fell and heavens fury to get all beams on the same mobs (immense damage)
What is the meaning of Ivory tower ?
To fire heavens fury when you block attacks. But its no longer a part of the build
Is there another option for Stone Gauntlets? It doesn't really help me, in fact it's making things even worse, but I'm probably just doing something wrong.
I've tried several different things, but no Stone Gauntlets are best.. make sure you have all the correct skills, and passives selected. Stone Gauntlets will keep you alive.. and as long as you have permanent Akarat's the speed reduction shouldn't be noticeable.
