Diamond in helm, diamonds in armor.
If you want to go for The Traveler's Pledge and Compass Rose, CoE is the best fit with them. Equip Unity and "Your follower cannot die" relic for your follower. Templar is best for his regen abilities.
You may also use Flying Dragon in the cube. In my experience it has been a little inferior, but this needs more testing.
Another option with more healing but less cdr and attack speed is to go for Simplicity's Strength (generator damage is irrelevant, this is used for the healing) instead of Gogok of Swiftness.
Use whatever element you have best items for, it doesn't matter. Just remember to swap Sweeping Wind rune accordingly.
Prioritize secondary resistance in all pieces it can appear on. This is a huge deal in toughness due to Harmony.

Build Guide
THIS BUILD WAS MADE IN PTR, THE SET GOT CHANGED AFTER!
This is the best variant I've been able to come up with using the new set. Cleared a 100 with 3 minutes and 5 seconds remaining. I did not have perfect gear, and only 2k paragon.
The gameplay is pretty straightforward, keep up your defensive buffs and Focus & Restraint and be careful when epiphany is down. Use epiphany for mobility and try to maintain high assimilation stacks when possible. Other than that there's nothing special about it.
If you have any suggestions, ideas or improvements please leave them in the comments, I'd be happy to hear your thoughts!
I used Intervene rune on Inner Sanctuary, but you could also use some other rune, or even Dashing Strike, but I prefer the tankiness, and intervene gives enough mobility.
Updated to use Echoing Fury instead of Crystal Fist, and Inner Sanctuary instead of dash. I had missed the changes made to Echoing Fury, it is definitely a good fit for this build.
Sorry to say this is a flawed setup. And it will be better to do a LOD setup with more dps and toughness.
My idea was to try and make the best build using the new set, so LoD is not an option here. I would like to know how you would improve my setup though, if you feel this one is flawed? To use FD instead of The Furnace, or something completely different?
you need Tempest Rush to make 6p AoE work, otherwise Sweeping has 9 yards AoE.
and cubed FD is better for sure, AS is a multiplier for Wind
There is no way to make a viable build using tempest rush, the increased AoE gives very little. In this current version I have 3,5 aps without FD proc, so I figured Furnace gives me more than FD, since APS caps at 5, FD would be overkill.
If you do not have as much ias on gear as I currently do, FD is better for sure, so you are correct there!
u can swap the neck, 1 set armor and rings for 2 pieces of sunkwoo (+50% damage reduction)+RoG+Elements
what for? the unity already give 50 reduce damage plus u gain flavor time power
more tanky build if u play in party since u cannot use unity in party
Did you tried using a running build, using tempest rush with Istivan's paired blade using vengeful wind in cube? and obsidian ring for cd reduction in epiphany?
Nice work. Simple and viable in HC. The dps ceiling comes quick but it can be surpassed with augments. Thank you for confirming my thoughts on pushing SOLO beyond 105+... The build has some wiggle room and for that alone, I will continue to push it.
The build lacks damage, not tankiness. This setup is tanky enough already, but thanks for the tip!
Thanks for the feedback! In the later stages on PTR, after I had made and pushed with this build, another one emerged. That variant was using the recently revamped craftable Crimson set and was pushing 3-4 greater rift levels higher, might want to check that one out too! However I feel that when season 19 comes around this set (or the supporting items) will be changed somehow, so we'd have to rethink our builds anyways.
There is something I don't understand from this setup.
You don't use Tempest Rush, when this set will increase your damage by 15000% if you hit with tempest rush.
Might as well not use the 6p set then no?
This build was created while the set was in PTR and the 6-piece bonus was different. It's outdated since the set was actually introduced to the live servers, buffed and made functional.
