Items

Inarius's set bonus for increased defense and bone tornado from Bone Armor.
Bone tornado applies large damage buff to enemies.
Siphon Blood procs Blood Nova from Iron Rose.
Wisdom of Kalan increases the Bone Armor max stacks from 10 to 15 for higher defense (damage reduction goes from 50% to 75% at max).
Nemesis Bracers for more elites from shrines and pylons.
Dayntee's Binding for 50% damage reduction.
Convention of Elements for damage buff on Physical cycle.
Krysbin's Sentence for damage buff to slowed enemies (Bane of the Trapped) or huge damage buff to stunned enemies (Bone Armor - Dislocation, Corpse Lance - Visceral Impact and Land of the Dead - Frozen Lands).
Sythe of the Cycle for more damage at the cost of Bone Armor duration. This is not a problem, just remember to cast Bone Armor often.
Bloodtide Blade for more Blood Nova damage to groups.
Aquila Cuirass for 50% damage reduction (we don't use Essense so it never drops below the requirement).
Unity for solo - combine with unity and immortal relic on follower for 50% damage reduction in solo play or use anything else you like for groups.


Gems

Bane of the Powerful - good starter gem, highest early damage boost and added defense.
Bane of the Trapped - best damage gem overall.
Molten Wildebeest's Gizzard - Fun defensive gem. Can be replaced with anything you prefer. Lightening for speed, Greed for rifts, Stricken for higher difficulties, Esoteric for defense.

Max movement speed then whatever stat you need. Max Resource not needed unless you use Reilena's Shadowhook for lack of a better option.
Critical hit damage or chance as required. CDR helps with Blood Rush.
Life and Armor, then All Resist and Regen.
Area Damage and Life on Hit. Gold Find for fun. RCR not needed.

Build Guide

(Using this for reference as I'm not sure if it's a public post ^ ^)


Playstyle

Activate the Inarius's bone tornado by hitting an enemy with Bone Armor.
Either hit a large enough group with Bone Armor or keep applying it to get 10 stacks. This is one of your defense buffs so keep it maxed.
Find an elite pack.
Blood Rush to it for the 100% armor buff.
Attack with Siphon Blood to proc the Blood Nova from Iron Rose.
Ensure that whatever you are trying to kill has been affected by the bone tornado.
Ensure that whatever you are trying to kill is in range of your Aura of Frailty.
Find another elite pack and repeat.
For anything that takes more that 2 seconds to kill throw a couple Corpse Lances at it.
For the rift guardian cast Land of the Dead and spam Corpse Lance.
