Playstyle
- Get Bone Armor stacks up ASAP by grouping up mobs, Blood Rush into mob, use Bone Armor (stun) and attack with Siphon Blood to trigger Blood Novas from the Iron Rose;
- Use Corpse Lance (CL) as needed to finish off tough enemies or stun enemies;
- Elites: single target damage is poor the higher you go in Greater Rifts (80+)...
Group mobs around elites. More enemies = more damage from Bloodtide Blade and stun them with Bone Armor; Use corpses via Corpse Lance to finish off elites; Use Land of the Dead (LOTD) and then Corpse Lance to kill elites, but build up damage stacks from Shoulders first (if possible); Try to do DPS on the Physical rotation of Convention of Elements (COE).
- Keep Bone Armor up for mitigation and damage buff from Scythe of the Cycle. Scythe will reduce the duration of Bone Armor. The amount of CDR in the build should allow you to reapply Bone Armor before it runs out.
Gear Alternatives
- Blind Faith or Cord of the Sherma as blind procs Krysbin's Sentence (KS).
- Briggs Wrath (grouping enemies) or Unity (mitigation) or Stone of Jordan (elite damage and %physical damage) as alternate rings. If you use Briggs, you could try Strongarm Bracers.
- Could use Golem (stone for grouping or ice for KS proc) and then use Golemskin Breeches (mitigation).
- If using Illusory Boots, you could remove Blood Rush for the Golem or Devour (mitigation and stacks from Shoulders) and add Stone Gauntlets (mitigation).
- Andariel's visage (attack speed and %physical damage), Johnstone (CL damage), Squirt's Necklace, Flavor of Time, or Ancient Parthan Defenders (mitigation).
- If using Lornelle's Sunstone, you want to strive for 1 million+ total life. Amethysts in the chest and pants will help with this. Not using this ring, Emeralds or Rubies in these slots (more armor).
- Helm socket: Diamond (CDR) or Amethyst (Life).
Skill Alternatives
- Passives: Swift Harvesting (attack speed) or Final Service (cheat death) for Eternal Torment;
- Could use Simulacrum: Blood and Bone with LOTD (for elites), but you need Death Nova: Blood Nova on your skill bar. Simulacrum only mimics skills on the bar. I found CL a more effective option for Elites;
- Could add Simulacrum: Reservior to increase essence pool for more damage from Reilena's Shadowhook;
- Could use CL: Brittle Touch and use it during the cold rotation of COE.
Stat options
- Add Area Damage rolls as AOE heavy build.
- Add more Attack speed rolls (damage and healing).
- Can eliminate CDR or VIT rolls for the above.
- More CHC needed....helm.
- Secondary stats: freeze or blind on hit (proc KS) or physical resistance.
- Get +max essence where possible.
Follower:
- Templar: Occulus Ring, Wynward, Thunderfury and Ess of Johan;
- Enchantress: The Sultan of the Blinding Sand, Occulus Ring, and Overwhelming Desire or Occulus Ring, Wynward, Thunderfury and Ess of Johan. Use hex, missile ward and disorient for KS proc.
Rifts: Add Gold Wrap, Boon of the Hoarder, Stone of Jordan, and Avarice Band.
