Possible variations to be tested, switch out St. Archews gloves for Fierce Gauntlets (set gloves) and change boots to Illusory Boots (Act 2 bounty), replace teleport with Frost Nova - Bone Chill for extra damage buff. This will also allow you to take out Aether Walker from cube and try something else.

Build Guide

Stats on gear is pretty standard for zDPS, for this build CDR isn't really all that important so just go for straight up toughness. Slow Time should be up as long as you're spamming Spectral Blades which is used to debuff for Iceblink, which means you can lay down the bubbles liberally. Use the bubbles to control situations and projectiles. Ess of Johan procs quite often sometimes you'll feel like a monk with cyclone. Save Blackhole for your party to keep them safe or get them out of trouble, move mobs out of doorways, or just use it to look cool.


Still nailing down the details of the how the toughness mechanics work, but the highest toughness I remember seeing is 3.5 billion. It's probably higher now, after getting better gear/gems.

Blackhole will take care of the following:

Most basic projectiles (spears, arrows, darts, wasps, fireballs, etc.)

Molten bombs

Ground Poison (except mobs that explode in poison after dying)

Arcane Lasers

Walls

Lightning Orbs

Frost Orbs

Frost mines (not sure that's what they're called, you'd think I'd know after playing this game so much)

Some boss ground effects (still testing this)

(This list may be edited in the future)


Not sure how meta worthy this can be but at the time of this writing, with a Tal's Meteor Wizard we cleared GR 108 (maybe 1 or 2 augments on dps wizard)


Overall its a fun build to play.
