***Keep in mind this build was made and optimized for season 14, it'll still work for S16 and beyond with a bit of tweaking***


I did update/edit some of the item slots for S16, however. Also, instead of SWK item set pieces, you can sub in Inna's set pieces, which will yield more damage, and better survivability for higher GR pushing. (Updated: 1/23/2019)

Gems (non-legendary):

Helm: Flawless Royal Ruby (for maximum XP gains)

Chest: Flawless Royal Emerald x3
Legs: Flawless Royal Emerald x2

**Note, you can sub the emeralds out for diamonds if you're having a hard time surviving**


Items:


The items listed above and within the screenshot can always be altered somewhat to your liking and playstyle. However, the items that say "required" are definitely needed for this build to work - Get as many items in the ancient or primal category that you can, it'll definitely help you create this speed build a lot easier.


Kyoshiro's Soul (belt) helps so you don't have to keep track of your Sweeping Wind stacks, which allows you to take Cindercoat in the cube, to allow for more WOL spam.


Nemesis Bracers are recommended in this build as each time you hit a shrine, you'll spawn more elites which will just help summon the rift guardian faster.


In-geom helps because after every elite pack you destroy, you'll get a buff that will allow you to spam Dashing Strike infinitely for a small period of time, which allows you to get around the maps way faster than if you weren't using In-Geom. If you use Kyoshiro's Blade in place of In-geom, only the multiplier matters on it, get one with as high % on it as you can. (if you get an ancient, 250% is max)


The Vengeful Wind weapon only matters because of the multiplier, get one that has "sweeping wind stacks by 7" on it to ensure you're obtaining maximum stacks.

All sunwuko pieces listed above are necessary for this build to work properly.


You can play around with the rings a bit to your liking and playstyle.


You can play around with the legendary gems a bit to your liking and playstyle. (though I recommend using the ones I have listed, and get them up to 90+)


Passives:


Beacon of Ytar - For the cooldown reduction *Required*

Seize the Initiative - Increases attack speed when attacking enemies that are above 75% HP. *Recommended, could prob trade this out for Exalted Soul, Sixth Sense, or Momentum*

Harmony - Increases resist all based on items. *Required*

Near Death - Will save you from that random explosion that would otherwise kill you. *Recommended, could trade this out for Momentum, Sixth Sense, or Exalted Soul*

Core:


Build up movement speed + speed on items to hit maximum of 25%

Max out resource

dump all else in Primary stat (Dexterity)


Offense:


CDR is essential in this build to pop Mystic Ally whenever you're low on spirit, max this first.

Need that damage increase, max out crit chance next.

Need to balance out the damage with crit by maxing out crit damage next.

Attack speed is only worth if you're going to push those breakpoints, you can max this one out last.


Defense:


Resist all followed by Armor for the toughness to help keep you alive.

Life will help push that toughness further.

Life Regen is and always has been bad, save this one for last.


Utility:


Area damage will help you in all versions of the WOL build, max it out first.

Resource Cost Reduction will help you manage spirit better, do this 2nd.

Life on Hit really isn't super great for WOL, but better than gold find. Do this 3rd.

Gold find is always saved for last, if you're hurting for gold, find puzzle ring runs through the community feature.
