***Failed to Download...

  • When I try to launch D3 I get the following error message:

    Failed to Download. If problem persists contact customer support.

    It was running perfectly a couple of days ago. I have not made any changes to my computer or installed any new software. I even tried to turn off my firewall temporarily. Is this a sign of the servers being down or have I randomly developed an issue preventing me from downloading the newest patch?
  • If you're using any internet security apps, you'll want to make sure they're configured to allow the game access to the net. If you're not sure how to do that, it may be easier to temporarily uninstall them until you get the game installed. Only do this if you know you'll be able to reinstall them though. You should not run your computer without security.

    If you're trying to reinstall the game, delete the old game folder first along with the C:\ProgramData\Battle.net folder
