When I press play in the battle net Diablo menu, it says launching, then goes back to play. After about 2 mins the diablo logo pops up, but nothing.

This issue can occur is something is blocking Agent from properly launching the game. I'd recommend the following steps:
Step 1) Ensure Secondary Logon is enabled.
Step 2) Double check any personal anti-virus you have installed on the system is setup to exclude the Blizzard app and our games.
Step 3) Place the system into Selective Startup and restart the system before retesting.
