High Latency ONLY when using Battle.net Launcher

  • Huge latency when launching Diablo 3 via the Battle.net launcher. Goes from 175ms all the way up to 1300ms. Major lag in the game processing actions I perform.

    However when I launch the game via DiabloIII64.exe WITHOUT the Battle.net launcher open from E:\Program Files (x86)\Battle.Net\Diablo III\x64, I get no issues. Latency stays between 40-70ms. No lag. Everything's fine.

    Tried to submit multiple tickets, tried to get on live chat, tried to get a callback. Every support option gives me a "Something went wrong on our end."

  • Hey Mrvance,

    Let's make sure the App is working properly. Delete these Blizzard App files here and here.

    Then see if disabling the Blizzard Streaming makes a difference.
      1) On the Blizzard App click on Options and then Game Settings.
      2) Click on Streaming.
      3) Under Streaming Options uncheck Enable Streaming and then press Done.
