    I am receiving this error when attempting to play can someone point me in the right direction for resolution?

    Could you try disabling the Streaming feature in the Battle.net Desktop App?

    Open the app, select the blue logo icon along the left side on top, click settings, click Streaming, and make sure it's not enabled there.

    All right, try running the game with the 32 bit client instead of the new 64 bit one.

    In the Desktop App, select Diablo III, select Options, select Game Settings and enable "Launch 32-bit client instead of 64-bit"

    Could you please post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool:

    Press Windows Key + R.
    Type DxDiag and press Enter.
    In the DxDiag window, at the bottom, click Save All Information.
    Name the file "dxdiag" and click Save. (note where it's been saved so you can find it)

    Locate the Dxdiag.txt file just created and open it to copy and paste ALL of it's contents into your reply.
