So I just searched for a public brawling game, game loads and the first thing I see is a hoard of zombies in the Act 1 starting area, so I instantly Spirit Walked and fleed into the inn, only to see that my Spirit Vessel had already procced... A guy on party chat had welcomed me to his zoo, and warned me not to feed the animals, how amusing. The game was MP10 of course, cause when I search for a brawling game, I cannot set a desired MP level.
If I weren't a Witch Doctor, I would have probably died, even as a Monk with NDE, since I was pretty much already dead, except for Spirit Vessel on my WD by the time I actually loaded into the game...
Blizzard made portals to stop mobs from being pulled into town from the weeping hollow, and was done with it, but guess what, the town has two entrances, and there are mobs on the other side too...
Instead of fooling around with portals wouldn't it be a hella lot easier to make the already existing "In town" buff make HC players immune to damage? No? I dare say it's so easy to implement that it could be added as a simple hotfix... I doubt people would be kiting mobs back to town to kill them while immune, but if that turns out to be a concern they could make the aura reduce your damage to 0 aswell...
