Nice video. Similar to what I've been doing for essences except I didnt think to use charge instead of a fury generator.

thanks, yea charge is a great opener and for Warrior's Rest runs your not really giving up 24% damage exactly since if you don't have charge your rotation would be

bash,bash,bash,berserker,earthquake.bash.hota,hota,hota,bash

as opposed to

charge,berserker,earthquake,hota,hota,hota,hota

you know in my very initial testing back in 1.07 PTR, I kind of wrote Warrior's Rest off because of the fact, for myself I only care about essences.

when I touched up on it again this time around with significantly upgraded PVE gear, it's actually not bad at all for farming drops as well.

You kill a decent cluster of whites + elite, at the higher MPs the drops are reasonable.

I don't really do much warriors rest, but back when I did CotA with my Barb I used something similar but using overpower-momentum instead of charge. I tried using charge after watching your video, but personally still prefer momentum. Might just be because it seems easier to use. I also use rend instead of the shout since I'm doing CotA and there's more trash mobs there. The rest of the abilities are the same though.

There's no correct way of doing warrior's rest, you can tweak the skills to fit your playstyle and change them up when you get bored and want to do something else.

I didn't think much of it either before too, but it's much less intense than doing VOTA runs and can just do 4-5 runs here and there when I'm doing nothing.

that works too, you can also go bloodthirst to get that extra 3%.
