The latest issue of PC Powerplay, an Australian Gaming magazine (Issue #155) has featured a cover story on Blizzard with a main report on Diablo 3 consisting of a a five page write up, with exclusive screenshots and information about the game.
The issue also features a preview of Starcraft 2 and a feature on popular Diablo 2 mods for those of you still playing the good old game.
Blizzard Guru has uploaded scans of the magazine, which include an interview conducted some time after WWI about the game's art direction, the implementation of health globes and some general talk about how the game is shaping up to be. There's also a separate article on item randomization and talk about the new classes, and a snippet of rumors on what the new Battle.net 2 will bring to the table.

nice read, too bad they are so strongly against the potion system of the older diablo, to be honest the orbs are the only thing i don't like in diablo 3, its too pac-man-ish.

Last page, second image on the left; I'm confused at what that is, is it possibly a new character class they slipped in. Looks like it's wearing a cape and carrying a staff; maybe it's just a bad shot but that's what i see.
Here's the image in question:

I rescanned the images to make them a bit larger for the claw using class dude...
So far speculation ranges from shape shifter demon, to druid with claws, to barb with claws :p
He's definately got 2 claws (whether part of body or picked up is hard to tell)
He is wearing a robe with a hood.
He has horns, whether as part of helm or head is hard to tell...
If you look at my zoomed in edited image, there appear to be 2 small animal skulls on it...

Upon further review, I don't think it's a new class. I believe it's the demon the Cultists can transform into. Note the the images here: http://www.blizzard....arkcultists.xml
Both figures have the split robe/cape thingy. Both have an arm, that, at the top is white, but turns red and grows larger at the bottom, where he has a large clawed hand. They have the horn (of which, I only see 1 in the magazine image), as well as a singular claw on their other hand (again, which I only see 1 of in the magazine image). They even have that claw swipe attack.
It also wouldn't be the first time Blizzard released an image where monsters are fighting each other, with no sign of a Barbarian/Witch Doctor.

Believe you are right there; too bad thought maybe I found something that someone might have missed....now I see it though totally has to be a cultist fighting a goatman.
