Not that it's that big of a deal, but that was one of my favorite parts of wearing the sets was the cool effects it gave you. For example.....

There are so many particles constantly being generated on-screen, more aesthetic additions will slow performance down. Sure, I'd like things to be even more graphically awesome, but you gotta look out for the players who don't run supercomputers.

lol, sounds like you need to switch antivirus programs.  I don't think you would need a supercomputer to run the game if it added a glow to armor, but I do see your point.  I guess I just miss some of the little things D2 did that they forgot about.

First thing any IT guy would do is uninstall at least 2 of them.

Questions about wizard gear? Helpful tools? Common wizard builds? What gear for my follower? And what is a black weapon?

Answers to these and many other questions in the Wizard Gear Guide.

I have no say. If I did, I'd install D3 here so I can camp the AH 24/7.

I've worked as tech support for an antivirus company, a lot of problems customers had were solvable by uninstalling competitor AVs. Ofc we wanted them to only use our product but it wasn't just that, they would often call in to blame our product for slowing down their computer.. when in fact what happened was that multiple AV solutions were competing over resources. So we cleaned it up via remote control and in most cases that solved their performance issues.

These were private customers and I don't know what kind of solution your work place has but if there's ever a discussion in your office about why the computers are so slow, you might have an opportunity to suggest a fix and earn yourself a promotion =P.

You could just leave your computer logged in at home, and remote control it via your phone :)

Maybe I didn't get a warning because I use AdBlock. Could've been malware through ads.

You should never run more than one Anti-Virus program on a single computer. The unfortunate thing about Anti-Virus software is that they hate each other, in a sense, and count each other as a malicious program. Basically what's happening is that your programs are distracted with each other and not doing their jobs correctly.

Like he said, work laptop.

It's amazing that IT departments in companies are run by people who understand less about computers than any average 15 year old kid.

Off Topic: It's always a big no no to have more than one AV on a PC at a time. I did that at one time and it actually caused my computer to lock up every time upon login. Very strange stuff can happen.

On Topic: It would be nice but it really seems like an afterthought in the first place.

The second picture poses more than one "what happaned to...?!" question, if you ask me.

As to set item glow... no idea. Have some vague memory someone asked about it long time ago but don't remember what was the response. Probably a generic "not fun" or an art team, out of touch with the diablo universe. I place my bets on the latter. ;)
