I have 2 black weapons, a 1118 dps EF and 900 dps butcher sickle.  A witching hour belt dropped for me few days ago with 50CHD and 8IAS. I have about 38-39% crit chance, the tooltip said I will gain 2k dps if i switch my inna's belt with this Witching Hour. However when I did switch it, I lost 5k dps on sheet.

What I'm wondering is, I guess the +X% Holy damage doesn't get calculated on the tooltip, but it gets calculated on the sheet dps? So does that mean if you have a Witching hour and 2 black weapons with high dps but you have lower than 40-45% crit chance, you will gain DPS by switching to Inna's belt?

Hi,
usually the dps calculation in your character sheet (i Button) is correct!

EXCEPT, if you switch a piece of gear and gain / lose a Set-Bonus.

I assume you lose your 2-set Boni of Inna's and so your dps loss comes from the -130 agi.

In your situation i would recommend buying a
Inna's Chest with + "Your-Resistance" or with very high Agi + Vit values.

Witching hour is by far a BiS Item.

It does get added on the sheet dps, well at least with a SoJ it does.

X% is calculated on both tooltip and sheet dps
