I got 2 weapons, cant decide which one to use

Axe 1:

958.2 DPS
600-874 DMG

+285 min
+199 max
+37% dmg
+149 vit
89% CHD
2.3% Blind on hit
Socket


Axe 2:

960.4 DPS
478-999 DMG

296-664 fire dmg
+38% dmg
+63 str
+146 dex
+96 vit
62% CHD
Socket

Which one would u recommend to use?  The first one give me extra 5k dps.

Also in general + min/max vs + elemental dmg, which one give more dps?

Black weapons are better, because they generally have higher dps. But they will be nerfed in 1.0.7. So dont buy a black weapon before patchday.

I think that patch note escaped me. Care to elaborate on how they will nerf it?

Skorn: Will get nerfed from 1428.2 to 1309.8


Echoing Fury: Will get nerfed from 1300.2 to 1137.8

Thanks Andarus, that info was helpful.
But will this change affect future drops or/and the actual ones? ..because it would make sense to apply the "nerf"/bug fix on existent black damage weapons as well.

PS: a lot of people will be pissed when they'll see their weapons nerfed

Thanks for the info, i will stick with +fire dmg

So does that mean if i bought an EF with 1k dps for $30 now, after patch it wont worth that much?
