Should I keep my Skorn or switch to DW and Gear Check!

I found a skorn a while ago and it increased my DPS by a whole lot. I've still been using a WW build switching between overpower and rend since I have pretty decent AR. Should I stick with a WW build with the skorn or get rid of it and try to DW? Should I keep the skorn and try a different build?
I know I have no IAS boosts, should I focus on that? With passives my CC chance is 53% and damage is 417%
I only have 12% movement speed since to get lacuni's anywhere near the stats my bracers have is 100's of millions.
I have about 70 mil right now with some stuff on the AH that should get me close to 100mil. What would you do!

Basically the only fury spender I have is Rend, so my fury is 99% of the time full. So I use "Berserker Rage" which gives you 25% more dmg when at full fury. So my unbuffed dps is 135k and at full fury it jumps to 220k, which is a really big leap!
1 - Use War cry and Battle Rage.
2 - Use Furious Charge with Merciless Assault Rune (-2 per enemy hit). So when I hit 5 or more enemies with that, I spam that till there's less than 5 left. (A good whirlwind replacement I think.)
3 - Then you use Leap with Iron Impact to boost armor for 3 sec and Rend or whatever way you want to use it.
4 - Rest of enemies I Bash. And what I like about the Onslaught rune is that basically do more than 200% w-dmg. With this rune the enemies always fly when killed, which gives me satisfaction
I haven't done any Alkazier runs or any runs to see how much exp/hour I get, cause that doesn't concern me at all.

I decided to use my monk's old Inna's just for kicks and it turned out pretty well:
http://eu.battle.net...65/hero/7812115
This build carries me pretty quickly through mp0-3
I still have my IK boots and a similar amulet to Flavor of time lying around for the 5 set for when i go on higher mps. It enables me to get Bloodthirsty instead of Unforgiving, which solves most of my problems when going against reflect damage.
When going higher I also have a Litany with ias and a Wailing host with crit dmg, but that's only because I found both of them recently.
I can really feel the ias from amulet and inna's when using hota and when sprinting, so I can only say go for some of it.

interesting build. I might have to try it or some close variation. Have you tried using WOTB also? max fury with WOTB might give you some pretty insane damage.
I'm not worried about exp/hour either mainly just farming for good loot and the paragons come along with it. How is playing without sprint? it has to be a lot slower than with it...

@OP, using a Skorn is fine (it usually results in a huge dps upgrade as you noticed) but the problem you're going to encounter with it is the massive decrease in attack speed. A loss of attack speed will directly result in less fury generated/sec, less crits/sec (which indirectly leads to less fury generation as well) and less "HP recovery" from things like LOH and Life steal. You can make up for some of that by wearing legendaries and other items that increase your attack speed, but as you also mentioned, you might be taking some stat loss or shelling out huge sums of money. You can get attack speed on your helm and crit chance from Andariel's Visage cheap (with ehp loss). You should be able to add IAS to your amulet and left ring without forking over an arm and a leg too. A Witching hour belt is almost certainly a huge DPS gain for you, but might be out of your price range with high str (I'm not sure if you can even get one with life steal and AR). Your Skorn should be able to cheaply be replaced by one with massive Str instead of Int. Last but not least, yes you should look into getting more move speed. I think 24% move speed is mandatory for anyone wanting to spend less time playing this game for more reward.
I promise this is the last I'll say on efficiency... High DPS and farming at the lowest MP you can breeze through elites is by far the most rewarding experience from a loot/exp perspective. It is definitely more fun to bash away at elites on MP4, but you will get several times the good loot just breezing through MP0.
For the love of God, get a hellfire ring!!! Paragon leveling is the #1 thing on everyone's list to get more/better loot!

I was using the exact same build several months ago on my barb before I switched back to monk. This had been popular 2H build here at diablofans before paragons were introduced.
It can be done with WotB, but the strength of the spec is that you don't need to rely on it at all, skip it and have the same power all the time.
It is completely different gameplay than ww/sprint builds. It is indeed quite slower, but the kill speed of combined rend, charging and bash:onslaught is very good. Charging through pack of mobs back and forth is pretty fun, especially when you interrupt their animations with it. If you don't look only at pure movement speed, mobility is great seeing you can charge out of jailers and leap from walls etc. Imo the build feels way more "barbarianish" then the 24/7 spin mode of ww specs. The loot/xp effeciency is lower ofc.
If you wanna have some fun, try it. Nothing feels better when "it hits like a truck" and you are the truck;)

I might try to get more movement speed out of inna's pants as I can get 12% and some IAS, I'm going to lose AR ands Vit though. and a good pair is prettty pricey
I guess I just need to find some sweet gear I can wear or sell for a billion!

Mmm, never tried it with WOTB (I'm assuming with Thrive on Chaos rune for longevity or Insanity for pure 15sec dmg?). 2 one handers with some skills/passive which generated addition fury will obviously work better. I've also tried adding HOTA to the build (for 1% CC for every 5 fury), but doesn't work well...too slow imo. But I will try it out and report back!
The thing is, I play either in pub games or with friends, and even without Sprint I tend to be faster than the others; not cause of the build but I just don't like standing around waiting
But let me know how it is for you.

Indeed. I saw this build on here as well. Before that my barb felt weak and wasn't much fun playing with even if I killed the enemies fast. This build makes you feel so powerful and that is what makes it fun to play.
Not only the kill speed, but the survivability of it is immense. With Rend + LL weapon and/or belt + leap + furious charge you almost can't die. I've only played MP6 as the highest and even with my current belt I rarely die. I do have a belt which gives me +72all res and +6k life before, but changed it for my current one.
Oh and do you need potions:

If it's XP farming, you want to DW and go with a Sprint/WW build at MP0-1.
If it's uber/key/loot farming at high MP, well you can stick with DW but a nice Skorn is good here too. I run a HOTA build for MP8 runs when I feel like doing something different.

I really just want to keep improving my character. I just like farming gear and finding good items. I'm not worried about maximizing xp/hour, paragon levels will come as they do.
I've been just running act 2 & 3 routes, typical routes everyone is doing, mainly in mp4 as mp5 I start dying more. I guess I should probably lower the mp to be more efficient resulting in more loot.
when I found the skorn I figured I would use it for a while until I got enough money to go back to DW. I didn't realize it was going to cost multiple 100's of millions to get 2 decent one handers. So I've stuck with the skorn for longer than I wanted.
I could go out and get a skorn with 400+ strength, 1400ish damage, 180+ CHD for like 50 mil, but I'm not sure if that is a waste in the long term.
decisions decisions!

If been experimenting with DW/Skorn as well for quite a long time as i had the same situation, and my conclusion was pretty clear:
While a good Skorn gives u termendous dmg on the paper, it's no really working out for the standard WW or Hota Builds; part of the reason is Thrive of Chaos. Keeping it up almost an entire run and therefor being that hyperspeed killing machine which is so much fun to play, seems to be impossible to with Skorn. Aside from that lackin IAS on your gear is gonna hurt your suvivabillity once u go into hogher MP's and after the patch u will wont to do because if the immense exp increse per MP.
I Have experience that with DW, and even if it costs you some dps, the standard builds work much more fluently and on higher monsterleve and in the end i guess that's what u wanna do right? farm at high speed without stoping or dying
Echos are expensive, it took me some time to snipe one from the auciton house + finding a complementary offhand, but its worth it,
It really imprived my barb experience

1) Stick with the Skorn, but change your build into this:
http://us.battle.net...QRUS!ZYh!YZZYZZ
With your current build its only a few minor changes: WotB -> Furious charge, Nerves of Steel -> Unforgiving, and changing the rune on Overpower into Killing Spree (Momentum also works for more fury, but I pop Killing Spree only on elites and they go down in 1-2 seconds). The hard part to master is knowing when and where to pop your Charge, eventually you will get realy good at this and can use it more or less constantly.
2) With Skorn and the above build, farm MP0 doing Raoha runs (aka "Big Three"): Areat Crater 2 backwards to the WP (start at checkpoint in Tower of the Cursed lvl 1), Rakkis backwards, Keeps 2. Thats the whole run, should take 5-6 minutes. Per hour I'm getting around 75m exp, 700k gold and 1-2 legendaries. I'm running at max MF (300) and almost max GF (274) with 26 pickup. Seriously, you must try it, it's AMAZING.
3) Do some minor gear changes, in particular getting a Hellfire (preferably with crit chance) for both yourself and your Enchantress follower. Give her also a Grand Vizier staff and a neck with high MF, and she will add a total of 20% MF and 7% XP. Get 12% movement speed from some other gear slot, either just get cheap Lacuni without crit or get it somewhere else (ring, chest, pants) but I realy do recommend Lacunis. Even if its without crit and low str it still won't decrease your DPS as much as you think, and you don't need tons of vit/resistance to do MP0.
If you're on Euro server I can help you farm keys/organs for your Hellfire.

Here is my build for low mp with a skorn : http://us.battle.net...RQSc!ZYh!ZZYZZb
The furious charge will most likely clean all white mobs and boost your fury on the way, killing spree is there because you can cast it while whirlwinding, and lacerate is there for elites. You are able to farm super fast with that on mp0, and at this lvl WotB or Warcry Impunity deserves to nothing. If u don't got a full ik set just take bash instead of killing spree.
And for higher mp I post you my build, though I think it only works with a full IK set and a life leech skorn :
http://us.battle.net...RPZk!ZYh!ZZYZZc
I can farm mp5 super fast for keys or even as high as mp10, no downtime always sprinting and ww'ing, and for tough solo mobs I got HotA smash, with a fully loaded fury bar and WotB I got 90+ % crit so fury is not an issue at all, and I can crit for around 2 millions for 15 sec
