Hey Witch Doctors, I currently play a Barbarian as my main hero.  I've grown bored of the constant Whirlwinding and have hit a wall with gearing.  Before I played in the closed beta I was all in on the Witch Doctor but then after playing the Beta the Barbarian instantly stole the show.

Just a few questions, and if anyone has made the switch or has spent many hours and both in end game some input would be fantastic.  All input is welcome of course.

-From what I understand INT gear is generally cheaper than STR gear.  Is this true?  Could I get better gear for my WD than I have on my barb (let's say my gear is worth 30m, even though it's not)?

-Are there diverse playstyles for the WD?  For the Barbarian it's pretty much Whirlwind or you are wrong. I've seen some high end builds on youtube which seem to be either spam zombie charger or spam killing dogs.  Are there alternative yet viable builds?  Are the two that I mentioned even viable?

Bears, Sacrifice, Acid Rain. That's pretty much it. Not much build diversity, but definetely better than most classes barb included. About INT vs STR gear - no, it's not. But WD has lesser stat requirments for easy farming than barb.

I can easily say WD has the best build diversity, You don't have a regular build with WD (at least it not for me and not for other top WD's in my Friend list) I got different solo builds for different MP's. For example, I don't use my MP5 build on MP7, same goes for MP9-10 they require different builds. And when playing with party it is a whole different story u got tons of options both for gear and build (got some spare items which i change in each different party).

It's equipment is far more cheaper than other classes, it is the best class for party play and it has the best dmg output for farming (not comparing with bugged monks).

Which doctors are MP 0/1 Kings.. But when it comes to high MP. We are by far the worst class to choose.

Thanks for the input.  It seems based on these replies and other things I've checked out that the WD might be for me.  I am also considering my Wizard but I think Witch Doctors are cooler and the least popular class which will make me unique.
