Archon Guide for Solo Farming
To compliment Archon InfernoFriday's budget guide we posted recently, here's also his video showcasing the gear you'll need, alongside a very nice Archon build that is excellent for farming MP1. And of course some nice shots of his Archon going around and demolishing the enemies!

I don't understand, why still so many people try to find the best Spec for any class.
I cleared the game with every class before MP levels were implemented. I don't think it will be necessary to have the best gear possible to play PvP at it's best. It would be unfair.
However I think you will need the gear for the next D3 Content they will develop in the future.
But if people have fun with it, it's ok.

Those goodies display! Looks like a shrine! That Archon Wiz might be a bit of an issue when sometime it runs out of mobs. Act3 would be the best to have this build, well maybe act4... ok maybe every act lol

It's just because "best" means most "efficient" which means "winning" in a game you can't win at. For PvP, it's all going to be done via matchmaking so you won't need any gear to find a specific match, unless you're at the top of the non-publicized "ladder".

So yeah, do what you please. For people farming up P-levels, archon solo will be the fastest for your wiz.

As most people have said, Archon builds are just plain awesome for farming xp. CM suffers from the problem that ww barbs face when they 1 shot everything; that being resource depletion.

I find myself looking at a lot of these gold farming and gear farming guides--like Archon's for instance--because I never seem to have the 87.5 million gold that everyone else seems to have. Now, granted, I don't play the game ever religiously and I instead play very casually but I think with all of my toons combined I only have like...maybe...45k gold. xD

I'm pretty sure I must be playing the game wrong or something.
Thanks for the guide Archon, I'll try and use some of your advice on my own toons.

A lot of wizzards played archon build at reales of Diablo III - i always wander why there is so few streamers with wizzard? Always - Barbarian - WD - DH

Haven't played D3 for a while, maybe I can dust off my Barbarian. Remember it's not that long ago that there was some Barbarian farming guide. By the way, anybody knows when the PVP Patch might be released?
