Incredibly glad to see they are continuing to ban botters in all their games. Wish they put in place methods to make it harder in general but that will never happen.

i'm shocked, what a ban-hammer xD but i think botters get enough money to take a new account, and playing a new bot till 60y in 5 hours. In my opinion Blizzard's Banwave is not very effective against skilled botter

I agree with many others; the banning of "thousands of accounts" for reasons of botting is too little too late.  The time it took to create a list of accounts that large, monitor for patterns and then flag the accounts for banning and finally take action against the accounts... the damage had already been done to the game, community and economic infrastructure within the game.  Thanks, Blizzard.

I wish these banwaves were happening faster, not hard for a player to buy a bot, max to 60 in a day or two, and make enough money to buy another copy of the game, as well as make some profit :/

Given that climbing the MP ladder is (IMO) a perfectly good endgame, I don't see why they don't nerf paragon XP (particularly the last 20-30 levels) so that P100 is easier to get to, eliminating the 'optimal for XP' problem and letting us just pick mp based on our mood and/or gear.

I do have to admit that it is a bit sad to hear that they will not be putting in any holiday events. I always found it fun and enjoyable to see a holiday item drop, even if it were a candy cane that restored a bit of heath, just to remind me of the holidays and put a little more joy into the game.

Nice to see they're continuing to ban botters but I'm sure they make more than enough gold to buy additional accounts to continue their work.

Just wondering but what's the biggest impact these botter have on this game? Are they selling lvling your char or are they screwing up the economy? The first one I couldn't care less about, but I thought Blizzard said the drop rates of legendaries are balanced over the server (dunno if this was a blue post or just a random comment).

Well, nice to get rid of those botters. Though some damage has already been done and many botters have earned enough money to but a new account, I at least hope that this discourage many people to use bots and I think that's part of the purpose of banning all those accounts at the same time.

(A HotS key contest is also nice :Thumbs Up:)
