MP10 from Level 1
There are actually a large number of people attempting this. There was a thread created and dedicated to recording the adventures of players attempting to reach level 60 and clearing inferno starting at MP10 from level 1. I personally tried this as well, but adding in the extreme purist challenge on top, I have lost many characters so far...not gotten past the Butcher yet. :,(

Appearances or not, the games I play the most are WoW and Diablo 3. In about equal parts. I try many games meanwhile but nothing seems to grab my attention like Blizzard games.

totally, frankly after i quit wow for like a year plus and tried to come back i found the game overly childish and totally pointless.  I think what really makes the game worth playing for people is the friends they make online.  i DO like diablo 3, but honestly im much more of a fan of two, but thats mostly nostalgia.

So basically, if you get out of the super social game mindset, you might find other things appealing again.  Try bioshock if you havent
