I'm looking into creating a video series heavily based on theorycrafting, for all classes and such. I only have a couple ideas on what I'm going to do.
I'd love to see some ideas from this forum because in my opinion, this is the best place for the best theorycrafting and I'd love to help/contribute to it.
What do you want me to test?

Detailed analysis on what kinds of damage sources are reduced by what, like what is reduced by armor only, what by resistances and armor, what by nothing, what can be evaded. Which kinds of damage get reduced by stuff like Resolve or Threatening Shout.
I am not sure on all of these, just heard multiple theorys and statements about stuff like plague and desecrate being unaffected by resistances and evasion, while fire chains can be evaded. Melee damage gets reduced by resolve, Molten isn't. Fire walls in A3 aren't reduced by anything etc etc. I would like to know once and for all, which of these informations are accurate and which ones are just rumors.

These are great things to look at, I totally didn't think about that at all, I was only thinking about class mechanics, but this is a great suggestion.

Are there builds like the Enchantress in d2 (Sorceress that did Mele damage)? It would be cool to see unconventional builds.

Figure out formulas for each and every single skill and how to max the damage output of each and every single skill 
Please factor in IAS, CC, CD, buffs (none or 4-man party, e.g. wizard Stretch Time, WD Slam Dance, monk Overawe, etc.).

I'd love to see a detailed analysis of the wizard skill Storm Armor - Shocking Aspect, in particular how it works with WW, or just how WW deals damage. There's tons of information about the LoH returns for WW but its interaction with SA is very odd. I did some theorycrafting myself about it and ended up making a rough empirical formula for the SA proc rate for WW as a function of attack speed but it can definitely use a more detailed analysis, and my range of attack speeds analyzed was fairly small.
I'd be more than happy to share my results and methodology if interested. I made a post on the official forums about it but it seems no one had really tried to do something similar so mostly it was people throwing out ideas who hadn't read my post.

I have recently changed and gold buy some guear to make the ranged barb spec and i find myself with tons of issues, the build is fun and i love it, ofc is no whirlwind but got tired of spin to win gameplay
i would like to improve in the game with this build and i thought of no better place than this one to ask for some pro help
My main issues is im trying to farm the hellfire ring as much as i can, but even with +800 resist, solid 150k dps (no dmg multipliers and unbuffed) and 38k hp i struggle too much
My main problems are the following:
- i feel like a glass cannon in much of the content
-Cant keep wrath of the berserker up for longer than 1 min!!
i have read and informed myself as much as i can through the forums and i would like some theorycrafting about the crit chanc, the attack speed and the fury generation from mighty weapons to see if this could help me improve
