No PvP-Specific Gear
Jay Wilson just tweeted that there will be no PvP-specific gear. PvP tokens are in the game files though, as we've previously shown, so what they might be used for is still unknown.

Wizard Budget Guide - MP10 for Under 1 Million
Wizards are getting some love with yet another guide. This time around Archon InfernoFriday builds a rather nice gear set for only 1 million gold. All the items bought have standard stats for their gold range, so no waiting on for a lucky bid.

The stats in this video allow the Wizard to easily farm MP 2-3, while being able to 100% survive mp10 (though not able to farm). This is a great gear set for fresh 60's or those who want to play with friends in higher MP to help stunlock everything.

Reminder on Key Drop Rates
As other players have noted, the drop rate of keys and the plans is 5% on MP0, 10% on MP1, and 20% on MP2, all the way up through a 100% drop rate on MP10. (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)

Choosing a Monster Power Level
It’s very rare that I have a chance to do more than one run in any given play session, so I prefer to do it on the highest Monster Power I can reasonably handle. I know on a lower Monster Power I could kill more monsters in that single run but I also have to factor in Keywardens. (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)

Project Blackstone
Blizzard has apparently registered two domains recently, one of which has been named ProjectBlackstone.com. There is currently no information about its possible future content. The other domain purchased last month is WarcraftBattles.com for which there is also no known information.

Thank God. I might (just might) flip a table if I realize there's PvP specific gear and my current gear will be allocated to splashing around demon blood all day.

Well, I was pretty sure there was no PVP gear. (Would of been surprising if there was). I can't wait for the  PVP blog, and I never had been so excited for a blog. :P

Eeeuuuh nah? People who earned cash trough RMAH and made bnet balance that way , wont spend a euro on gear... They would just spend bnet balance which isnt real money....Ofc there are some exceptions .... but w/e , if thats is keeping u from doin pvp ... KK..

No specific PVP ?   Fantastic :D
how would you gain the PVP gear if it was in game ?  Dropped off mobs meaning even more crap to search through for a semi decent item ?  No thanks

I have no problem with PVP gear being avalible in game, but it needs to be done in such a way that it is still random,  and in no way dilutes the normal dropped items.   One solution would be to have something similar to NV stacks in PVP arenas,  on reaching a set amount of stacks (eg 5) any further kills in the PVP arena (since its death match from what I gather) would drop PVP gear for anyone getting DPS on the target.

This way PVP items stay in PVP and dont dilute the PVE pool of items any further.

I hope the tokens are used for trading in and receiving exp/gold/items in return, or to strengthen crafting somehow. Also an easy solution to preventing pay-to-win in PvP is to hold one league for those who have bought on RMAH and one for those who haven't... honestly it would be dumb NOT to do that because it's such a huge difference on perfect gear compared to good-for-not-having-bought-on-RMAH gear.

They have said over 100 times already that you will be matched against players with similar gear as your own, so how can it be pay2win?

No they haven't, they've said they MIGHT use such a system. The only thing they've said as far as I know is that they'll use the Elo rating system.

the funny thing is that the people who will buy their gear (why do some people think it's always kids with their parents' money?) will end up getting stomped because usually people who have amazing gear through the legit way (playing the game a ton) are a lot more skilled

That there is no specific PvP gear does not mean there is no PvP gear or that there is no gear that can only be obtained by PvP'ing. There might be gear that is very useful for PvP, obtained by collecting a ranking or items but this gear could easily be usable in PvE.

My guess is that PvP will just be another source of random loot, however the specifics end up being implemented. Maybe it'll be something like the PvP vendor takes tokens and gives you gear that is randomized and soulbound like the Hellfire Ring.
