Hey!

I tried soloing uber for the first time, on mp7. I got Realm of Turmoil first, Things wasnt so bad then I messed up and died. After 3-4 attemps I managed to get the kill.

Then I got Realm of Chaos, that I killed in like 3-4 minutes, very easy.

Then it happened.. realm of discord... Im not sure whats wrong in this one, I get owned SO quick.. I build fury, pop wotb, start my usual things.. then I get blasted like hell, even trying to avoid those little flies...

I run normal ww/sprint spec, with near 9% ll, 115k dps without battlerage, 7-800 all res with cry and 7k armor and 41k hp. and 7% reduce from elite from Litany ring.

Any Advice on a better build or gear would be appreciated, I feel like this portal is unbeatable solo lol.

How hard was it for you to do? Your profile says dps was 70k did you really solo 2/3? with that kind of DPS?

Realm of discord is SK and maghda right? Yea maghda has a 3rd attack that it hard to see; She does a melee ranged puke that's the same color as the insect swarm, and sometimes she casts it at the same time. You don't want to be anything less then full HP when you go toe to toe with her. My advice is a hota build w/ rend and the smite rune w/ frenzy.

Lol no its messed up for some reason, My dps is 115k, I get to 185k with cry and Wotb

Edit: I saw its not my current mainhand, and skills are not the one I use, for some reason it updated right at the moment I was looking at some things on my sheet while swapping out skills and gear lol.

Just do it with a group, get a monk / WD / CM wiz and it becomes an epic faceroll. I do understand that you might want to do it solo to challenge yourself, but other than that - there really is no point whatsoever trying to solo them. A decent group with decent balance and skill setup will rape it far faster than you could solo. I am doing it with a regular group on MP9-10 with all 3 ubers going down in about 10-12 mins.

If you can't find a few friends to do it with, go to LFG forum on blizz site or d2jsp and post your're LFGing to do ubers. (It is also better in the sense you get to do 3 ubers with using only 1 key perhaps, 4 players bring a key each x3 and you get to kill 12 ubers)

Interesting topic.  I also solo the bosses on MP7 but I had no problem on SK/Maghda or the Ghom+?  portals
But I REALLY struggled with siegebreaker and Kulle!  that slow time skill just stopped my WW/Sprint in its tracks with no way to easily regenerate my fury and keep WOTB up....  I eventually got thorough it with a rend/smite build but it was tough....

On the zk/sb fight my wotb uptime was really bad too, and I had to kite a lot to wait for some life to regen or pot cooldown, but still managed it, I almost can tell its about luck, I could do it again in another 4-5 attempts, but I have to pay attention a lot to Everything! As for Magdha, I have no clue if I could even down em to 50% lol. Maybe  I could try another build..

Reason why I want to solo em, is I key run on mp7/8 and its rare I dont get a key, takes me something btw 10-12 min per key, and I usually dont have time to wait to build a grp and everthing... I may try mp6 for easier time..

You can try swapping out impunity for Op-CA as with the SK/Maghda fight there are enough adds around that OP resets pretty fast, but you shouldnt even touch maghda until SK is down. Stay as far away from Maghda as you possibly can, and that should solve most of your issues until you actually have to kill her. Especially with your AR as high as it is, OP-CA should net you a nice defensive cooldown (if you use it that way), or a offensive attack that happens to give you 30% damage mitigation. You have enough crit so that you should be able to keep the buff up long enough so that the down time between when it falls off and is reapplied shouldnt be more than a second or two. Another possibility is to swap bash-instigation for onslaught as you wont really need the extra rage on startup too badly due to your attack speed, and the extra damage from the reverberations is really nice (it also can activate into the fray as well). In those rare occasions that you need to use bash, the extra damage really helps, especially in terms of lifeleach.

Well, I managed all 3 kills on mp6 ( and got 3 organs ) with hota/rend build ! Gonna try mp7 next attempt. Hardest fight was zk/sb. Maghda fight was a positional problem, but once the fight is started it gets a lot easier, I went out of town to get full rage then went to start fight asap, so I had battle rage and wotb ready at the start !

Now should I try to get a LS skorn for that? or is 2 1 handers good enough? ( I dont have A LOT of attack speed.)

2 1handers are going to work way better than a 2h weapon until you have tons and tons of AS, and even then its probably not worth it.
