Important: Patch 1.0.6 Now Live

PvP Blog Soon
Jay Wilson has recently returned to posting on his Twitter account and has also given us some great thing to talk about - PvP. There will be a PvP blog soon, but not much other info is given. You can also check our datamining post from September where we managed to find some pretty awesome stuff, like banner rewards, PvP items and lots and lots of strings and accolades. Also this post containing a few pictures of an unfinished arena and this one containing lots of pictures of what appear to be already finished arenas. Finally this post includes the audio for the PvP vendors.

Diablo III Hotfixes -- November
A hotfix was deployed that removed the nasty bug where monsters spawned with a part of their health missing and also a fix for some issues involving the Blade Wings from the Heart of the Swarm Digital Deluxe addition.

"Very soon" is a reasonably definitive statement, i.e. probably this week or next. My guess is 1.1 PTR a couple weeks after that.

Does anyone know how the PvP gear will be acquired? Will it be farmable? Will Blizzard sell the stuff?

- Fixed an issue that allowed players to bypass the one-second trade timer when exchanging items via the Trade window
- Fixed an issue that caused the same item to occasionally drop for players using Threatening Shout with the Grim Harvest rune

So just two (fairly useless) bug fixes and they just had to call it 1.0.6 instead of 1.05b or something?
