I already told you I KNOW THAT ALMOST NO ONE USES IT it SAMPLES the data for the weekly average And i just love how you keep making it sound like more then even 50k people play this game ...

You do realize that D3 sold an average of 50-100k boxed units (meaning, not even counting digital copies at all) every WEEK since launch to around the end of July, weekly (yes, WEEKLY) figures are still around 20k for BOXED copies alone, never mind the Black Friday sale on D3 going on right now.

http://www.vgchartz....blo-iii/Global/

So, to be clear, you think there are less the 50k players WORLDWIDE when the game is actually selling MORE then that on a MONTHLY basis?!?!? (not even taking into consideration the 10mil+ user base)

ROFLOL.

What is it like being THAT stupid?

opinions, and I don't think it is as played as CoD. Owned much?

So................ just to be clear here;

CoD is your "favorite game"?

The only person "owned" here would be you.
yes i am so totally serious. I am part of the silent majority that buys thoses fucked up games and enjoy them to no end. I am doing this right? Is it going too fast?

Not sure how forums work?

Or quotes?

Or the English language?

I even bolded it for you....
yep, question, answer. Must be hard...

lol

Ok, so its become obvious that I'll have to spell it out for you;

He said "Diablo 3 has more players then your FAVORITE GAME"

not

"Diablo 3 has more players then any game ever" or "Diablo 3 has more players then any other game"

Because he was banking on no one willingly admitting that CoD or LoL were their "favorite" games (due to the obvious E hate that would follow), and this seems to have completely fallen outside of your ability to comprehend.
You don't understand it was funny because CoD have (way) more people still playing the game and you hate it. Still not getting it? ofc not. Lets try this: CoD is my favorite game, and is played so so much more than d3.

Nope, not really.

I do think it is hilarious that CoD is your favorite game though. (at that point, I think its pretty safe to discount any opinion you may have on game quality as "horribly misinformed")

Do you have a collection of Justin Bieber CD's you want to brag about too?

Do you buy Justin Bieber CD's because they are really popular too?
Never came through your head people know better than you? Do you also discount the opinions of people not enjoying d3 even if they represent a larger population than the one still playing? You are playing and defending d3, what does it say about you? Dismissing my opinions lol /care. Get a grip.

CoD > Bieber > D3.

This alone is all I need to know about you.

I lol as I wait for my train to head to the city.

I thought trolls that insist on attracting attention by constantly bringing up hate and arguments were supposed to be quarantined in the official Bnet forums. Who let the OP out?

you are funny yeah whatever. Try to face the fact more people hate this game than people like it.

Also I like your signature, you are so witty you should quote yourself more. People do that, it is popular you know, like CoD...or d3...

So how many people are still playing D3? Let's talk about that and not CoD or JB. :)

Clearly not as many people that like to play CoD while listening to Bieber?

Its the new Call of Bieber popularity measurement system. (designed by "The people that know better then you" council.)

you actually put a justin bieber video in here. What is wrong with you?

Anyway i wish there was a way to estimate precisely d3 actual population, even if everyone with half a brain knows what is happening with this game. Maybe looking into the number of visits a day this site gets since release could provide a hint, keeping in mind it is probably visited by only a 'special' part of the community and less than the official forums.

There won't ever be a clear way. No game developer would announce their numbers unless they're really high. Like really. Or if the game is an MMO as that has to be mentioned on financial reports.

There will never be a precise number unless Blizz give us one. And even then, people will say that's bullsh*t, because that's how people are. :)

Check out the address bar on your browser. See what it says there? That's right.....it says DiabloFans. There's no '3' there.

dont you see the 3 behind the diablofans logo? =D

and the only one who mentionned 3 here is me, you and the op and this isnt a diablofans threads either

Nice catch on the logo :P

But I was responding to Huminator, who said something along the lines of "if you don't like D3, you can just get out". I was just pointing out that there was a D1 and a D2 before there was a D3.

Is that a veiled shot at the members of this forum....a clever "fanboy" reference?

I believe I can help you out, brx. The issue appears to have been with your original Google search which led you here.

Apparently, you meant to type in Notdiablofans and ended up here. An easy mistake. I'm sorry to inform you, however, that Diablo 1 and 2 are long fucking dead.

I can accurately tell you how many people still play those games from yesteryear......... 18. The answer is 18 people still play those games. Heck, that's almost 20, nearly.

You make no sense. 18 people still playing d2?! Is that supposed to be a joke of some sort? Is that what they call blind fanboism? You should know there is still thousands of people playing d2 and there is nothing you can do about it. Anyway try to make belief that d3 is the successor of d2 and did not destroyed the franchise. And be noisy about it.

People playing doesn't mean its a good game. People not playing doesn't mean it's a bad game. CoD isn't a good game, yet millions buy that every installment. Company of Heroes was an extraordinary RTS, yet it had practically nobody playing it. There are probably still 100K concurrent users on Diablo 3 but that doesn't mean it isn't lacking severely in the depth department, but don't confuse that for why the masses will stick with a game.

Welcome to basic human behavior - we go where the crowd is.
