Now I have only been using stuff I have found and never really looked at the auction house, but I am really wanting to improve my WD. Tips on gear and what should I be looking for in gear upgrades will help a lot!

If you can afford it aim for a Zunimma's armor with the boots and the ring. It's a great set for witch doctors. And I would look for a new weapon with more intelligence on it. But your current setup is not bad either.

If you are willing to spend about an hour or so in the ah, you can get some awesome upgrades for less than 1M

I bought my knife for 150 000, Thing of the Deep for 1.5 M, Head for 210 000, Lacuni for about 100 000 - if you want to have a faster xp/mf runs (not shown but i have some good Strongarm Braces that were less than 50 000), Tal Rasha's Allegiance for about 300 000, and so on...

The really expensive pieces were the Zuni Boots that rarely go for less than 7M, Marrow that is often more than 5M, and Pox is about 1M for the lesser quality, but the set bonus really come's in handy - I rarely run out of mana, and because of the build that I use, I can replenish it in seconds.
