Hi There

I was wondering if blizzard will anytime in the future maybe bring out exotic dye's
If they have not thought about this idea yet here it is :)

Like a dye that make's smoke come out your armour or your armour burns or give's it some sort of cool effect, something similar to how some of the weapons looks, these dye's must only be able to work on legendary or set items.   i think allot of people will like this.  Or even for rare items.

Will this be possible?  What do you think about this?

Hey fellow South African!

Dunno if you remember the time Blizz designers answered questions the reddit community asked, but they said they're gonna have some tech restrictions that make it unfeasible for us to do this. And this was 5 months ago, they also said they try and solve this in the future. But this was just for normal dyes, not exotic like you suggested. Since some people has mostly legendary items equipped the look like clowns, even just ordinary dye will suffice!

Some also suggested vanity slots for each piece of gear, which customize the item but no any stats (obviously).

Another thing that will be cool is if you get a special effect on your character when you have a full set of Set Items equipped. Similar to the Witch Doctor's poison cloud he/she gets around him/her from that one set mojo.

So my answer is no to exotic dyes for now but hopefully yes for normal dyes!

Totally +1.

I'm still wearing rare shoulders, and I would only switch to Vile Ward if I find really really really exceptional ones that give me a huge dps/ehp bump. It's so ridiculous that everyone looks the same and you can't do anything about it, but if you go for fun, low-level gear you can create nice "costums" with random rares and dyes...

Questions about wizard gear? Helpful tools? Common wizard builds? What gear for my follower? And what is a black weapon?

Answers to these and many other questions in the Wizard Gear Guide.

From what I remember all legendary pieces apart from helms, shoulders, weapons and offhands use the same models as standard gear (with an equivalent ilvl), but colored in a distinct way.

We totally need the ability to dye these items. My female DH looks like a mix of a leather-fetish viking (Natalya) on the upper part and Arielle (Inna pants) on the lower part.
If I'm posting, I'm probably bored. I advise every "gamer" to try out
Path of Exile ( https://www.pathofexile.com/ )

or relive old memories with
Dungeons and Dragons Anthology ( http://www.gamersgat...ster-collection )

This, so much this.

Let us Dye/Vanish set/leg pieces, and add like, 20 more dyes to the game.
