You could have like a upgradable gambling character just like the jeweler and the blacksmith. I'd love to gamble some legendaries for 5M or something !

I would LOVE gambling to be back into the game...but I could see some problems coming from this.

One..the super rich gamble all day to possibly get richer or lose money.

Two..gambling for gear would have to have the ability to roll decent stats

Three...That could be less money for Blizzard so they would probably not do that =/

HOWEVER!

I would LOVE to see gambling when it comes to PvP. Gamble for spoils or lose it all.

Isn't that the whole point of gambling??

I don't really understand? Good roll gamble gear could be sold on the RMAH.
And, gamble would be a good feature to "sink gold" to control the inflation in the gold aunction house.
I only see good side effects...

I would love to gamble. I would prefer fusing multiple items into one new one instead of betting on tweaking one particular item. It'd make trash rares worth enough as components for new gear.

Crafting is essentially gambling. However, the odds of crafting are just too bad. Simple fix would be to include level 63 crafting recipes or have one stat fixed when gambling. It would also help to create a gold sink, see other thread about inflation.

Questions about wizard gear? Helpful tools? Common wizard builds? What gear for my follower? And what is a black weapon?

Answers to these and many other questions in the Wizard Gear Guide.

As of right now, crafting is too random and too expensive to be useful.

I'd love to see D2-style crafting gambling in the game. Spent so much time and gold on that...

As other said, crafting is sort of like gambling, but it would be great with some recipes for ilvl 63 rares and new legendaries imo. And they should add designs for rings and amulets for the jeweler.

There is a gamble feature in D3. It's called the Auction House. Buy low, sell high. Make gold.

That's not D2-style gambling, that's casino-style gambling.
Did I say casino? Sorry, I meant Wall Street. So easy to mix those two up...

They should also add selling Unidentified items through the AH.More for gold sinking and selling unids would be way smoother.
Gambling thirst quenched.
