Sup guys,

Some of you may have seen my posts, some may not, either way a short recap of the last few days events.

I made several threads on the battle.net forums, among other forums, about the duping that is literally getting out of control lately on the GAH/RMAH in USA-Softcore.

Blizzard was not responsive (Who would've guessed?), and instead of tackling the issue at hand they were too busy banning my accounts from the forums and deleting my threads.

So 2 days ago someone approached my friend fookya (Current #1 barb in dprogress) about an barb ammy he's selling off the AH for more than the 2b cap, which is reasonable considering it's basically a perfect roll and can't get any better.

Fookya couldn't match the price he was looking for obviously and was told by the seller that he will be putting it up for sale across various channels, including one site known to be frequented by chinese hackers, www.16(censored).com

Now details are still being compiled and we're still trying to figure it out, at this point we don't know if the amulet was duped by eddie himself, eddie bought an already duped version, eddie is involved with duping team and acting legit to spread the word about the amulet, or countless other scenarios.

Fact of the matter is, well watch the video for yourself.

My original duping thread (not closed)
http://us.battle.net...ic/7004017309#1

One of my 4 threads in general discussion that was CLOSED by blizzard then re-opened after public outcry about the banning and closing of my thread.
http://us.battle.net...opic/7164266437

Fookya's thread about the ammy
http://us.battle.net...opic/7172727393

Oh and I also noticed Moldran posted a new video about duping and how blizzard is taking action and it's most likely "rollbacks".

Well Moldran, all I can tell you at this point is that it's 95% likely you are incorrect, when I have more clearer idea of how the duping is actually going on I'll try to post it.

But I've had very extensive dealings with blizzard during 1.04 when my account was frozen over 11 times in a span of a week due to my RMAH sales surpassing $xxxxx (edited this out)

During that time I was pretty infuriated and kept demanding to speak to someone up the chain, I can't disclose everything that they told me since they weren't supposed to tell me things about their security protocols in the first place.

BUT what I can tell you is that, blizzard is very aware of proxys/vpns and what not, for a person to legitimately claim he was hacked and to receive a rollback is very difficult and would require a very strategic sequence of events to make the hack look legitimate without raising Blizzard's security protocols.

To not only rollback once but multiple times with similar gear, well let's just say the odds are very against them.

Although it's not completely out of the question, I'm going to give Blizzard the benefit of the doubt that they weren't actually that incompetent.

I re-gain forum access to battle.net in a few hours, stay tuned for more details of duping unless, Blizzard is actually doing something about it.

Adding two videos of duping that was on chinese forums (1.05).

Now I don't know how legitimate these are and it doesn't show the exact process of what they are doing behind the scenes.

Nonetheless, I'm quite certain as me and other fellow barbs look into the matter more and more closely we will be able to determine how it's being done.

Video posted 16 days ago.

youtube video from 11 days ago

There's countless more videos, I am just posting those two for now since it's hard for me to filter through the Chinese site since I can't understand it.

its pretty common knowledge that duping outside of rollbacks exists but people are being ignorant on the topic, dont know why though, sooner we raise the awareness of the problem, sooner it will be fixed/controlled

Proof?

It's not common knowledge, it's a myth. If you cannot substantiate an inference, it remains a myth. The Chinese videos posted above are well known to be edited/fakes produced by people whom wish to sell you their "secret" only to rob you for your ignorance.

And what makes you think Blizzard isn't aware of the rollback duplications?

My god, I typed in "how are these people duping items in Diablo3?" To my surprise there are websites selling programs for duping!!! This is scary because one program states its absolutely undetectable no matter what blizzard does, including any new patch that they come out with. They state that people have made 10s of thousands of dollars with it. This is scary for the future of Diablo3 and anybody looking to make easy money because in Diablo3 duping is now a Felony.

True or not, people will always find a way to corrupt the system.

Please...please tell me you're being sarcastic?

Because you know what happens if you "buy" their "program", right?

How the hell would I, or you know what will happen if "we" buy the program? How do you know anything your saying is true? Ok so this all might be crying wolf or it might not be. There is not reason to be absolute in your arguments.

i havent said blizzard isnt aware of rollback dupes, only that people believe duping is possible only trough a rollback, why did you ask that question to my post is beyond me and can you prove that video is fake?

faking a picture is one thing but faking both of those 2 videos in OP? only thing you got is blizzards promise that duping will be impossible, wouldnt be the first time that they are wrong

edit: from what i understand a game is a code and again as far as i know there has yet to be a code/program that is unhackable so i wouldn't be surprised if all those smart Koreans found a loophole and are now duping like crazy

Surely sir, When real money is involved it is considered theft and forgery to "dupe". Just take a look at Full Tilt Poker and that fiasco or read blizzard terms and conditions. Easy way to think about it is its like printing fake money.

I'll tell you what. You go ahead and buy yourself a copy of that fabulous duping program. I'm sure you'll be rolling in dough by the end of the weekend.

Good luck logging in on Monday.

Youtube is awash with phony dupe vids, most linking you to goldseller sites etc.

Until I see the AH fill up with duplicates, I remain steadfast that this is a rollback issue, one that is already well in hand.

Of course exploits will come and go, but I have yet to see ample evidence to believe that people out there have the ability to create $250 items at will.

That sort of greed would be exposed quite fast.

Uh ok

OK.

Can you tell me why this makes any sense to you;

Your name is Chun Yun Phat. You have discovered a duping process. You have essentially invented a money machine. So....you make a youtube vid showing everyone what you're doing.

Tell me that makes one tiny bit of fucking sense?

Or....you have invented a program that dupes. Why the hell are you going to sell it to people when you could just use it to make money (almost literally) and not spread it around, causing it to eventually get made obsolete via security measures once it's discovered?

If I invented a machine that turned ordinary paper into $100 bills, I sure as shit ain't selling the plans to anybody. I'm making $100 bills and........... fuck everyone else.

I'm....I'm shocked. I simply cannot believe you are falling for this shit.

This is what you typed above, and I would be laughing my ass off if it wasn't so pathetic;

Quote

Are you shitting me? Really? You're that gullible?

"Most honorable person of interest makes many of dollars by using of program"......AND you're ready to buy this shit.....prolly huntin around for your credit card.

I just don't know what to say. I thought you were being sarcastic. I'm just....at a loss for words.
