Monster level selection in the game creation screen? Go to the settings, maybe it's deactivated under gameplay. Happens from time to time.

Questions about wizard gear? Helpful tools? Common wizard builds? What gear for my follower? And what is a black weapon?

Answers to these and many other questions in the Wizard Gear Guide.

there is some bug that is turning it off, if your game crashes or something like that.

When you change in-game settings (can range from video to keybinds, but usually with video), Monster Power will be automatically disabled in your gameplay settings. After you hit apply to change your settings, you have to go back to re-enable Monster Power.

It's a bug the devs are working on to correct.
