I have also been working a proper speed kill of azmodan, and today the stars aligned

Now that ive done with the standard build comparison i thought i should try to do a actual speedkill.

My results:

Siegebreaker and Kulle killtime = 2 min and 18 sec
Magdha and skeleking killtime = 2 min and 9 sec
Rakanoth and Ghom killtime = 1 min and 7 sec

Total killtime = 5min and 34sec





I actually think this recording is more meaningful compare to all the other world record speedkills since this actually involves a bit more gear balance and skill balance. (Can go all out dps when you have a wiz that perma freeze everything)

Only used my own gear. (didn't borrow anything to record this run)

Has anyone tried using HOTA build with a 2 hander? Or are the 1 handers a requirement for the HOTA? The only real concern is the sustainability of the WotB with a 2 hander - that might not work out, has anyone actually tried it?

This is awesome. But the one thing i cannot stand is that its absolutly REQUIRED to have insane IAS and dual wield. I have 189k dps with my current setup as a ww farm barb. But im using a 2h Skorn. I cant even begin to do mp10 let alone ubers on mp5+ b/c of the slow attacking.

I hate how the game is pigeon holed into ludacris IAS. Which is retardedly expensive might i add. Without Mempo's/Lacuni's/Echoing fury, this just isnt possible.

It doesn't take that much, the more the better of course. I have 29%. (bracers, 1 ring, weapon, gloves.) I can do mp10 act3 in a couple hours, anywhere between 5-20 deaths depending on random factors. I do mp8 ubers with friends around 100k dps.

I still like using a 2H skorn, I'll probably eventually try to get a life steal one so I can get a witching hour belt, but for now I definitely need the 6% life steal (belt and passive)

Just try to grab a couple items, gloves, a ring, maybe a neck, and you already have 20+% attack speed.

175k dps, 209k with battle shout, 290k with wrath. I'm pretty far behind the top end barbs by at least 100k damage.

Yeah i do mp8 ubers with friends too. But i cant begin to solo it. Sure i can do mp10 act3. Just takes ages b/c i dont attack 2-5 times per second.

I use this spec to solo mp8, try that. The leap stun helps a lot. The hardest fight is skeleton king due to his combo attack and the swarm from maghda, but you can use the stun to help with that. Or swap out leap for overpower crushing advance. When I do ubers I also switch out my xp gem in helm for 18% more life gem.

2H skorn does suck a bit for keeping up wotb, compared to 100% uptime with dual wield. Leap stun helps though.

Ok purchased a echoing fury and a decent offhand. dps is quite nice now. 219k with wotb up. Try to solo mp7 ubers and zulton fucking khuul and his god damn bubble. Get slowed, picked up, stomped on, set on fire and raped every time. Literally can do nothing about it. He does it non stop and slows waaaaay to fucking much.

I cant even keep WotB up 100% b/c i get picked up put in bubble. Kuul teles away. and i ahve nothing to hit. Fuck this is stupid. Must have 200billion fucking gold and 70% ias so u can just face roll it and stand in the shit and steal all ur life back. This is a fucking joke.

Ok. Got some help from Saberfenix. He told me to go super defensive on my gear and just see if my dps was enough. Also switch to stun rune on frenzy which helped a ton. Hooked me up with a 9.5% crit Stormshield and i was able to do all 3 on mp5 no problem. Cleared them all 1st try within about 5min each. Only used the shield on Skelly/Mag and Siege/Kuule.

Gonna go for mp7 tomorrow with the same setup. Still wasnt able to keep zerk up 100% but im guessing that will just take some more skill on my part.
