A bit offline for the monk forum, but top-notch monks do need this item to boost their DPS.

Does anyone know why 100% emeralds are sold on Asia AH at 1/3 the price of that at American AH?

With a supply of cheap 100% green gems, Asia monks are much more powerful.

I pushed a monk in Asia to 70k DPS from scratch (a new account)  in less than 100 hours' play time.

Because they duped gems (so I heard).

Probably, else not possible to find so many 100% gem on chest armor and everywhere.

Item duping spoils the game.

I didn't even realize duping was prevalent still. But yeah, 100% crit dmg gems are 16mil on US atm, or something silly like that.

I don't know about the gem price in particular right now, but in general the stuff on the Americas' AH is much cheaper than similar items on EU. So whenever you see prices in Asia and feel like you have to pay more, double that and you know what it feels like to be on EU.

16m is not silly. The pure money cost of creating a 100% crit dmg gem are 15m, plus 20m pure crafting time, lots of tomes and 700+ flawless square gems... so 16m is still a bit low on the profit side.

However, i think this has been fixed...the Gem prices on EU are actually recovering.
I would like some Blue Statements though...to keep silence about it is the wrong approach.

Things are not the cheapest on American AH, 3 100% green gems less than 1M a piece, INNA helm+pants less than 3M on Asian AH.
