I have 5 of these Plans; Staff of Herding books in my inventory.

How do I get rid of these things?

I can't drop it.
I can't sell it.
I can't learn it. (since I already know it)

I've tried everything and can't get rid of these things at all.

Try to create a new character, take the plans from your stash and delete the char.
Why do you even pick up stuff you don't need and can't sell?

I picked them all up before I learned them... and never remembered that I already picked it up. So I had them all in my stash.
