We know very little about how PVP is turning out, just look at how the game has changed since release, I'm quite sure their plans for PVP has changed along the way as well.

I just hope they don't add crazy acheivements to the game that are pvp related. I'm trying to get 100% of acheievments and as a casual player......just really hope there's no "be number one ranked team in a season" or anything like that like wow. Getting in top .5% on wow as a casual player was annoying enough.

Anyway they already told that they don't want esport on D3 and also that they will be no ladder.
So the only ranking available should be on site like d3progress...
