I might be wrong so bear with me but my intentions are to warn people in the small chance that i am right.

Just turned on my pc,as soon as it loaded i opened the explorer and visited diablofans.

RIght then,Kaspersky pops up and warns me about a trojan.

I'm not sure if there is actually a log i can link from kaspersky so i'll manually retype what i found.

"trojan.Win32.Buzus.mqjj"

Subject : http:// a.taylor- logistics. com/ads/ jentsorb.php? showforum=jre6

I added some random spaces in the address so no one accidentally clicks on it.

I don't know why or how, just that this popped up as soon as i opened diablofans.

We got a security expert here. Did Symantec pay you to say that?

Well, Kaspersky is known for having very harsh heuristics, which produce a lot of false positives, so chances are there is nothing to worry about.

No, we have it at work and Kaspersky for some reason thinks Windows XP is a fraud. We used it for like 2 weeks and got rid of it. Now we use McAfee.

Yes, they give MANY false-positives. I would suggest Panda AV (cloud based).

False positive is much better than a false negative. Also, that warning is most likely from an ad on the Diablofans site, and may or may not be true.

McAfee is great in an enterprise environment, but for home McAfee is a big ole bloatware and is crap.  Kaspersky, Avast, and a few others are more than adequate for home use
