+ MIN dmg
+ MAX dmf
+ damage range (e.g. +6-8 damage)
on the same item. Then it will show up like + (damage range minimum + (MIN dmg affix)) - (damage range maximum + (MAX dmg affix)). Put short, the +32-92 damage is 3 item affixes in 1.
The last is a socket, obviously.
My guess at least

I believe Cyeron is correct, the last one is probably damage range.

- Put the ring on your char and wait until it will show up on your hero page.
- Go to your hero page
- Open the pages source code in your browser
- Search for ""slot-rightFinger" or "slot-leftFinger" (depending on the finger you put the ring on)
- You will see something like this: <a class="slot-link" href="/d3/en/item/unity" data-d3tooltip="item/CjkIpo343AUSBwgEFSqvqN8dlkYMvR28Hz3iHbHN23YdBn2WQR3ZW5rhHZRRsqowCTjnAkAAUBJg6gIYq8O6hQRQAFgC">
- Copy this part (of your item of course): CjkIpo343AUSBwgEFSqvqN8dlkYMvR28Hz3iHbHN23YdBn2WQR3ZW5rhHZRRsqowCTjnAkAAUBJg6gIYq8O6hQRQAFgC
- Open a new Tab with this site: eu.battle.net/api/d3/data/item/ or us.battle.net/api/d3/data/item/
- Copy the gibberish into the end of the URL:
eu.battle.net/api/d3/data/item/CjkIpo343AUSBwgEFSqvqN8dlkYMvR28Hz3iHbHN23YdBn2WQR3ZW5rhHZRRsqowCTjnAkAAUBJg6gIYq8O6hQRQAFgC
- Press Enter
- Save the file as txt (you can rename it, for example ring.txt
- Open the file in the text editor
In my case it's a Unity with 32-64 damage shown. If you look for Attributes Raw you find the raw attributes. In my case:
"attributesRaw" : {
"Damage_Min#Physical" : {
"min" : 32.0,
"max" : 32.0
},
"Hitpoints_On_Hit" : {
"min" : 279.0,
"max" : 279.0
},
"Durability_Cur" : {
"min" : 359.0,
"max" : 359.0
},
"Crit_Percent_Bonus_Capped" : {
"min" : 0.045,
"max" : 0.045
},
"Durability_Max" : {
"min" : 362.0,
"max" : 362.0
},
"Damage_Delta#Physical" : {
"min" : 32.0,
"max" : 32.0
},
"Damage_Bonus_Min#Physical" : {
"min" : 30.0,
"max" : 30.0
},
"Damage_Percent_Bonus_Vs_Elites" : {
"min" : 0.030000000000000027,
"max" : 0.030000000000000027
},
"Dexterity_Item" : {
"min" : 153.0,
"max" : 153.0
}
Damage_Min#Physical and Damage_Delta#Physical is Minmaxdam. The values are 32 for min and 32 for delta. Maxdam is Mindam and Deltadam added. So you get 32 - (32 + 32) or 32 - 64 Minmaxdam which is the damage shown.
On top of this the ring got Damage_Bonus_Min#Physical with a value of 30. This is the hidden minimimum damage. The actual damage of my ring is not 32 - 64 (as shown) but 62 - 64.
Your ring will have the following attributes:
Damage_Min#Physical (33)
Damage_Delta#Physical
Damage_Bonus_Min#Physical (hidden Mindam)
Damage_Bonus_Max#Physical (extra Maxdam)
Highest value vor Min or Maxdam is 36. So if you are lucky your ring 69 - 92 damage (or 80.5 average damage).

Without any other bonus damage (only 1 ring and amulet slot left; assuming 1250 DPS EF) you would be talking about a 9% damage increase from bonus damage.
To put this into comparison:
At 2200 strength this would equal 207 strength.
At 400% Crit damage and 60% Critchance this would equal 51% crit damage or 4.5% cc and 20% cd.
So if you got a ring with 450 strength or a ring with 245 strength and 50% crit damage or a ring with 245 strength, 4.5% cc and 20% cd as that bad?
For a better comparison a ring with 80 average damage, socket and 186 strength should be about equal to a ring with 150 Strength, 30% crit damage and 6% critchance if you use the numbers above (and if I calculated everything correctly
I'd say you could get much worse than a ring with all 3 damage rolls (if they are rolled high, theoretically a Calamity using DH could get a bonus DPS of 160)

I know I wouldn't break up my Litany of the Undaunted + The Wailing Host set to use one of them. The extra xp is nice, but really it is no good as you just need to keep playing the game with a 31% ruby and you will get to 100 anyways.

Ehm, no? Hellfire Rings can be best in slot even for ppl with very good gear. And ofc ppl give them to followers. I've made 60+ rings. Why would I NOT give them to followers? They are very good for them, since they can have high main stat and MF. All of my followers have rings that are bad for me, but awesome for them.

Also, blizzard tries to get rid of MF and GF on item stats by introducing the Paragon levels, gives us the Hellfire ring which gives +exp. To me that seems like a wasted concept. Once we hit Paragon 100 we won't be needing the bonus experience and how many people are wearing trifecta rings with better stats than what an ideal Hellfire can roll? The proc just doesn't seem worth it to me if you look at it from that standpoint.
