Before we start bashing cheaters ( I love doing this), or you start yelling at me for making a new topic when I bet there is one out there ( I can't find it) what is blizzard's take on this program? Pinging sounds when legendary's drop!


Also any ideas on how to help those who are color blind? Red and Green are grey to me FML

Any third party programs are technically against the Terms of Service, so using one of those could get you banned.

We have no idea what they'll do to make legendaries dropping easier to recognize, I'd rather have it be more than a sound cue, as sometimes I play without sound. I don't know if anything has been said about a Color Blind mode (I think not ).

Really didn't understood the introduction to the post (kinda OT tbh) but anyways...

The pinging sound is a decent idea but there's a big flaw, since many players play without sound me for example). There's an idea flawless idea i had the other day while talking with a friend but kinda stays a bit outside the diablo's UI, still, I think the best idea for never loosing a legendary drop would be something like NPCscan addon in wow (i think most of you know this addon, i case you don't, just imagine the warning when you lvlup or paragon lvlup but displaying something like: "x legendary nearby".

It covers the no sound problem and also the colorblind issue.

They have already stated that they are working on a solution for the legendary being hard to spot issue, even in the form of a sound and/or a blimp on the mini map when dropped.
