Similar neck but with avg damage and dex would boost the most I guess for you (tho costly)
Hellfire ring with CD/Ias
Inna's pants with 9% Ias (minor upgrade I'd guess)
Bracers with 6% crit or crit and high dex Lacunis (would also gain you movement speed)

you seem to be a bit low on health, 27k. I'd focus on replacing your chest with something a bit more appropriate: high vit (150+) dex (60+) with 3 sockets and cold res.

My monk is currently on hold so some gear and the gems are on another char (farming gear/XP on my DH). I therefore let someone else post their monk to be rated.

I desperately need feedback too. I know I'm in MF gear (doing A3 MP2 runs pretty fast, near 375 MF buffed), but I think my DPS is somewhat low, when comparing myself with people with pretty much similar gear!?

I noticed you're using combination strike and only one spirit generator. Adding min/max damage to your ammy and other ring could help. I don't think you're too unreasonably low for stacking MF and only staying in MP2 honestly

I think an easy upgrade for you would be an amulet. You could probably find better for under 25M and pick up a good amount of DPS with 10% CC.

Same with gloves. Maybe find something with 9% CC and more CHD. Again, probably under 25M.

Edit -- Also, your offhand could be replaced cheaply with something along the lines of 95% + CHD AND LOH which wouldn't hurt.

Chest looks a bit awkward, not sure how much you are benefiting from 8% ASI. I'm sure it's a good amount and I'm also sure you've already compared it to something else with a good amount of dex, but thought I'd mention it anyway.

Interesting choice of skills, I'd use 7SS with a 2hander build cuz of the weapon dmg but that's just me. Other than that, nice gear dude, like the 2 set natalya's 7% crit bonus.

Well, Natalya's would be the next logical step, I would say. Looking good, but you lack attackspeed from anything but inna's pants and your EF. Granted, EF is fast enough on its own, some additional speed from rings, amulet or gloves wouldn't hurt (unless you are doing this on purpose, of course). Also, the lack of movespeed on the boots really hurts.
Natalya's would fix both problems elegantly, as the boots have guaranteed ms and the ring always has as.

As for the build, no Blinding Flash:FitL? It would boost your damage a LOT considering the EF (even more if you add some attackspeed) and add to your SW snapshot (at least for now, the patch might fix this). For the current patch, I would take blind over heal anytime, its better offensively and if you need it in a pinch. Also, the evasion from Guardian's Path is not really worth the slot, if you don't go for backlash or something like that; if you need more defense, get Resolve instead (its better than the evasion anyway), otherwise Fleet of Foot to offset the lack of ms on your boots.

Value of your gear, no idea. Search for similar pieces in AH, halve the buyouts and you have a rough estimate

Didn't update her in a while. Don't mind the build, its a hybrid TR build to do keyruns a little faster. What would you upgrade next? Probably amulet and weapons? I had quite a hard time finding better ones for a reasonable price so far.

If you people would be so kind, I too would appreciate some advice on improving DPS without compromising too much on survivability.  This is actually me in farming mode so I run with Resolve and a slightly better pair of bracers.  I have a perfect Witching Hour with % life but not dex unfortunately but am quite loath to take apart Inna's at the moment.  =]

Would be nice, if you would actually rate the monk above you, as thats kind of what this thread is about Just a quick look and a small comment like "looks good 8/10" would suffice

Ground: So the skorn is only used for snapshotting and you dualwield otherwise? Looks good overall, no critdmg at all except from the weapon, though.

SkyLightMiracle: Are you sure you need that much recovery? Dual lifesteal and 700 LoH is a little overkill imo, if you don't play a dedicated tank for ubers or something. I use 2.5% LS only and it works well up to mp6-7 (except reflect, which I handle by blowing cooldowns or sometimes switching weapons; alternatively waiting for patch 1.07 ). You are missing out on a ton of damage on the amulet, unfortunately you need its survivability with your current gear. Try to get some more vitality on other pieces, chest and vile wards for example. Missing socket in the offhand hurts a little as well.

I would say that overall your gear setup looks good. You might look at searching for a higher dps weapon with socket etc as well as possibly upgrading your bracers as I see they are the weakest point of your setup

I have recently started to get into the monk and focussed mainly on defence stats, first for surviveability and second for the sake of costs.
Spend about 15M on gear and perform not bad on MP5 on keywardens, takes time but i stay alive.
But as i havve not much experience and gold, im unsure to what focus on - how much dps i have to maintain to drop some surviveability?

Not bad.  A duel res & vitality Vile Ward would provide a good boost to survivability and some extra DPS due to its inate high dex.  You are packing a large amount of LoH and LS so I think you could afford to drop the LoH from the amulet for one with 2 or more DPS stats (Average Damage, Cri damage, Crit %, and Attack Speed).  A socket in either weapon would go a long way as the extra crit damage % would do well and would benifit your LS more.

I would probably break your weapon set for another just to up the dps.  Other than that I wouldnt touch it to much unless you can find some nicer gloves or amulet.

You really need to upgrade your jewelry to bring more damage and less overall defense. You need to have at least 2 trifecta attributes on each ring and on amulet.

Inna's parts are not stellar but ok: the belt could be inna's too if you can sustain the loss in resistances. If you do not need inna's belt then get a better one anyway (more dex).

Vile wards are ok, so is the fist; strongarm is average. You do not have life leech or life on hit I wonder how can you survive

Overall the whole gear build needs a change to 2 part nat 2 part inna's. But you extremely need critical chance and some vitality life% they are just too low for the dps that you have.

Looking at your gear, the life on hit gem in OH especially strikes my eye. I would definitely switch to lifesteal with some good weapons. You don't need a ton of it, if your damage is good. My skorn has I think 4,7 and I can do mp10 with it.

Currently trying to gear for 2W in anticipation of the next patch, so it's a WIP.
